‘Buffalo’s defense was red hot against the Dolphins, holding them to 216 yards, recording six sacks and an interception. They should look to do many of the same things they did in Miami. This will be the first time this season that Taylor Henicike will face an elite defense.’

Five takes: Bills hoping to win second straight going up against Heinicke, WFT
‘Things likely won’t be as easy for the Bills on Sunday afternoon as they go up against a playoff team from a year ago that comes equipped with what appears to be a budding young quarterback. The WFT is led by one of the league’s top veteran head coaches, Ron Rivera, who has plenty of experience coaching with and against Buffalo head coach Sean McDermott. The Bills’ skipper previously served as Rivera’s defensive coordinator during their days with the Carolina Panthers. After expending little effort in their blowout win over Miami, McDermott’s Bills will have to be on their toes against Heinicke, Rivera and the WFT this week.’
McElroy: Catching up with Bills linebacker Tremaine Edmunds, a former Hokies star
‘Answer: It’s crazy you asked me that because anytime I’m talking to somebody about the fans here at Buffalo, I compare it to Virginia Tech, and that’s just because both fan bases are amazing. It’s just nothing but love for both of them.’

‘I Was Always Going to Be the Guy Who Figured It Out’
‘“Some guys have those incredible years, and then that’s who they are,” one such guy, the Hall of Fame quarterback Kurt Warner — who won the league’s Most Valuable Player Award in his first season as a starter — said in a telephone interview. Now an analyst for NFL Network, Warner added: “And other guys just do it that once, and they never quite capture it again. I hope this is who Josh is the rest of his career, but I did not see this coming. I did not know he was capable of it.”’
NFL fines Bills cornerback Levi Wallace
‘But after breaking up a second-and-13 throw to wide receiver DeVante Parker in the first quarter, Wallace received a 15-yard penalty for taunting, and that prompted the NFL to fine the former Alabama defensive back $9,526, NFL Network reported.’
Watch Bills vs. The Washington Football Team: How to live stream, TV channel, start time for Sunday’s NFL game
‘Meanwhile, Buffalo kept a clean sheet against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday and took the contest 35 to nothing. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Bills had established a 21 to nothing advantage. Their RB Devin Singletary looked sharp as he punched in one rushing touchdown.’
Opinion: Washington at Bills: Sal’s keys, notes, and stats
‘After seeing how the Pittsburgh Steelers were able to disrupt the Bills passing game with very little blitzing in Week 1, Washington would love to do the same. But if they can’t and thus go blitz-heavy, they’ll give Bills quarterback Josh Allen and his receivers a big opportunity to take advantage.’

Carucci Take2: Concerns over offense prevent Bills’ defense from getting love it deserves
‘This unit has been downright dominant. It has allowed only one touchdown in two games. It manhandled and smothered the Dolphins’ offense from start to finish.’
Thad’s Three Things: Bills vs. Washington
‘The big concern for the Bills in this game is a repeat of what happened against Pittsburgh: Buffalo’s O-line just can’t handle the opposing front four and the passing game can’t ever get off the ground.’

NFL analysts | Bills vs. Washington game predictions | Week 3
‘This isn’t the Giants’ defense that Washington quarterback Taylor Heinicke torched for 336 yards. Heinicke and the Football Team (1-1) will collide with a Buffalo defense that has not allowed an opposing team to throw for 200 yards. Against the Bills (1-1) and Josh Allen, Washington will struggle to keep pace on the scoreboard.’

Q&A: No one can beat Bills DE Mario Addison in air hockey
‘”I think it’s pretty cool. I was with Ron for at least seven years. Good coach, good coach. I learned a lot from him. (It’s) too bad he’s playing on the other side. Seeing his face expressions from the other side, I think it’s gonna be pretty dope.”‘
