‘“I played two years with Emmanuel at SMU and there he was actually only a slot guy,” Beasley said. “His last year there, he asked (coach) June (Jones) to move him to outside to get some film, but there’s really where he kind of reigned supreme, was in the slot. Separation guy. Anytime you can get away from DBs, you’re going to be pretty good at wideout. So he brings a lot of juice and energy to this team and I’m excited to get to play with him once again. It’d be the coolest thing ever if we could kind of put this thing together and get a Super Bowl together.”’

Stefon Diggs talks about a way he can get even better for Bills in 2021
‘“I feel like we didn’t hit the deep ball well enough,” Diggs said. “We were pretty good intermediate. But as far as hitting the deep ball consistently, it’s me being where I need to be when I’m supposed to be there and him trusting me … So as far as like continuing to grow that relationship, nurture that relationship, hopefully we can take another step. We had a lot of success, but every year’s a new year and I want to take another step with him as far as being the best.”’

Bills’ training camp observations: Josh Allen, Carlos Basham make ‘wow’ plays
‘In the middle of the 11-on-11 session, Allen fired a laser 30 yards down the middle of the field that hit receiver Cole Beasley in perfect stride. The play happened so quickly and the ball arrived with such zip that the safeties had no chance to make a play, and Beasley likely would have turned it into a 50- or 60-yard touchdown. Everyone on offense gave Allen a high-five after the play.’

We’ll see this year. Things might be different. Nothing’s ever the same, so I just control what I can control.”’
Bills training camp 2021: Josh Allen spectacular on Day 2, stuns new teammate Emmanuel Sanders with pass (8 observations)
‘The play came as the Bills were in their second 11-on-11 session of the practice, which was moved indoors because of the rain. Allen waited patiently in the pocket and let Beasley get into his route down the middle of the field and then fit a perfect, blistering spiral in between safeties Jordan Poyer and Micah Hyde. It hit Beasley in stride and the slot receiver went untouched into the end zone.’
WR Sanders in awe of Josh Allen, Bills’ passing attack on second day of training camp
‘“Josh made a throw today that I haven’t seen,” said Sanders after Thursday’s practice. “A post ball to Cole Beasley. It was crazy, like mouth-dropping. I’ve been in the league 12 years… That throw, just in terms of the zip on his ball and the accuracy and the catch by Cole – it was just a beautiful play.”’

Allen’s play helped the Bills capture their first division title and playoff win in 25 years.’

Allen, passing offense impressive at Thursday’s training camp session
‘It was the media’s first chance to see the newly installed turf inside the facility, complete with blue end zones and a big Bills logo at the 50-yard line. In fact, it’s all made to look and feel exactly like their home field at Highmark Stadium, including using the exact same type of turf.’
