Bills’ McDermott takes flight with Blue Angels in Niagara Falls
‘”Game days are intense, but that intensity was unlike anything I’ve ever been a part of,” McDermott said following his Blue Angels experience. “I’ve coached in two Super Bowls, and that was like 3X, man. That was unreal, just unreal. What these guys do is just incredible.”‘

Bills Today | Dion Dawkins heaps praise on Bills front office
‘”I honestly think that the upstairs guys, which is what I call Brandon Beane and his guys, they did a great job of drafting character,” Dawkins said. “Guys who aren’t full of themselves and are people persons. Guys who have histories that aren’t perfect, or were underdogs. We were taught to get it the hard way and because they drafted guys like me and Tre’Davious and Milano, who are still here, it was a great blend of character, which was contagious in the locker room. And that helped the next guy and the next guy and it became a giant room of character men.”‘
Happy to be back with Bills, Star Lotulelei puts to bed any retirement talk
‘“With all the uncertainty that was going around at that time, not knowing exactly what was going to happen and what protocols were going to be, I felt like the best decision for myself and my wife and my kids was what I decided to do,” he said. “When I had made my decision, the team was supportive. They just expected me to be a pro, to keep myself in shape and be ready when time came. That’s exactly what I did.”‘
Josh Allen says Bills motivated by AFC title game loss: ‘We’re still a very, very hungry team’
‘“I think that’s the goal for every team every year,” Allen said. “You play to win the game and if a team’s not looking to win the Super Bowl that year, they’re doing it wrong. I think everybody’s got to have that mindset of, ‘We’ve got to go out there and give ourselves a chance,’ and Coach McDermott preaches it all the time of ‘playoff caliber.’ And once you’re in the playoffs, every game is your season on the line. The ultimate goal is to make the playoffs and give yourself a chance for a world title. And that’s what we’ve got to do.”’
