‘Morgan is also close with Panthers General Manager Scott Fitterer from their time together working in the Seattle Seahawks’ front office. Morgan started his personnel career as an intern with the Seahawks, and has credited Fitterer for helping him along in his new career.’
Bills Mailbag: Which of Brandon Beane’s draft picks will provide the best value?
‘Plenty of draft analysts expected Boogie Basham to be a first-round pick, possibly by the Bills, so to draft him at No. 61 overall looks like pretty good value. It was a surprise that it came after the team had already drafted an edge rusher (Miami’s Greg Rousseau) in the first round, but rebuilding the defensive line and finding ways to put more pressure on the opposing quarterback was a goal this offseason of General Manager Brandon Beane. Dan Morgan leaves Bills for Panthers Assistant GM job
‘The former Buffalo Bills’ director of player personnel was hired on Saturday by the Carolina Panthers to serve as their assistant general manager. Morgan, a former first round pick of the Panthers back in 2001, spent his entire career with the team (2001-2007). During his time in Carolina, Morgan was named an All-Pro once and named to one Pro Bowl roster.’

The pair have a close relationship and worked together from 2010-18. Morgan began in Seattle as a scouting intern in 2010 and worked his way to the team’s director of pro personnel. During that time, Fitterer was the Seahawks’ director of college scouting and then co-director of player personnel.’
Stefon Diggs says he played through a torn oblique throughout Bills’ postseason run
‘This makes sense, as Diggs was listed as questionable with an oblique injury heading into Super Wild Card Weekend, but all reports indicated he would suit up for that first postseason matchup against the Indianapolis Colts. The injury didn’t seem to affect him at all, as he lit up the Colts for 128 yards and a touchdown on six touches.’

‘Morgan has been an instrumental piece of the Bills front office since joining them in 2018 after previously serving as Director of Pro Personnel with the Seattle Seahawks, where he worked with current Panthers general manager Scott Fitterer.’
