‘”Just from the moment that I signed and the moment I got here, everyone’s been super welcoming,” Haack said. “I can tell that they preach the family environment, and I’ve seen it. I believe it all.”‘

Bills Today | Brandon Beane explains the benefits of seeing NFL prospects in-person
‘”It’s nice to be able to get off these zooms, which we’re all used to now, and we’re on now,” Beane told Wyche and Trotter. “But it’s nice to get back out at these pro days. … It helps our scouts, and it helps the process, especially if you haven’t seen these players up close, just how they’re built. That’s the importance of the combine, you see him walk across the stage, his body type, you get all the measurements, and you get to see him move around at that weight, whatever it is. Because some of these guys are bulking up to get stronger, but maybe they run a slower time. Some guys are trimming down to run a fast 40, but that’s really not their real weight. So, it kind of gives you a feel of all that and again, it gets us out of the zoom world and to be in person with some of these with these players and prospects or their coaches and staff. It just it really helps you answer where you’ve got them on your draft board as we close into the draft next month.”‘
Bills sign defensive end Efe Obada to one-year contract
‘Obada’s journey to the NFL has been incredible. He was born in Nigeria, but was a victim of human trafficking. He was trafficked to the Netherlands when he was 8, and later ended up in London with his sister when he was 10, where he was abandoned before spending time in foster care. Obada did not play American football for the first time until he was 22 years old, when he worked as a part-time security guard at Grace Foods while attending college. He eventually played for the London Warriors of the BAFA National Leagues.’
Isaiah McKenzie loves his comfort zone with Bills teammates
‘“There were a few teams interested – Detroit, the Bears, Arizona called, Washington, Cleveland, probably seven, eight,” he said. “Money-wise, to me, of course I want the money. But I understood the circumstances we were under this year. If everything was even, I told my agent, hey, I might as well go back to Buffalo because I’m already familiar with the system, I like being there anyway. There’s no point going anywhere else and starting over. Buffalo has something good going, as well.”’
Cornerback Jaycee Horn looks like first-round draft pick, but might not be there for Bills
‘There’s probably little chance Horn lasts to the Bills’ pick at No. 30. The next group of corners after the top three include Northwestern’s Greg Newsome, Alabama’s Asante Samuel and Georgia’s Eric Stokes, among others.’
Bills sign former Panthers edge rusher Efe Obada, who has had quite a football journey
‘And he was right. He tried out for, and made, a semi-pro team called the London Warriors, and two years later, against all odds, he signed a free agent contract with the Dallas Cowboys. Since then he has zigged and zagged his way to what went down Wednesday when he put ink to paper at One Bills Drive.’

‘The 6-foot-6, 265-pound Obada finished second in sacks on the Panthers last season with 5.5. That total is more than any player had on the Bills defense last year.’

‘”Money is nice … But if we got paid in candy, I’d still stay in Buffalo,” McKenzie added.’
