‘The Bills prefer tight ends who can block to one-dimensional tight ends who largely play split out in the slot.’
Emmanuel Sanders’ first impression of Buffalo: ‘I already love this city’
‘”I used to sit on my off days, on a Tuesday, I’d grab my iPad and I would watch the Buffalo Bills’ offense, the coaches’ film,” Sanders said during a web call with reporters Friday, the day after the Bills officially announced his signing. “Just watching the routes they’re running, seeing Josh run around and throw the ball 60 yards down the field, 50 yards down the field. It was just exciting to watch. It’s the reason why everybody’s starting to talk about them. They’re gaining traction.”‘

Bills may not be able to add to defensive line given salary cap constraints
‘Factoring in the approximately $4 million they will need to sign their 2021 draft picks, and whatever Josh Allen’s new cap figure is going to be once his massive contract extension – which Beane said is likely coming in the next few months – the Bills simply can’t do much more in free agency.’

The two did not play together much in 2015, but in 2016 the duo connected quite a bit on the field and Hollister put together his best season with the Cowboys finishing with 32 receptions for 515 yards and seven touchdowns.’

‘Of course, it’s important to realize that bleu cheese outside of Western New York is generally pretty bad. It’s likely that the “spoiled milk” version was something that Sanders had outside of Buffalo.’
5 thoughts and a grade on Buffalo Bills signing QB Mitch Trubisky
‘Here’s the thing, though. The Bills have had to take plays out of their play book the past two seasons when Allen has been out of the game. His mobility is a big part of how offensive coordinator Brian Daboll has devised his scheme, and with Barkley the Bills just couldn’t do certain things that Daboll could call with Allen in the game. Trubisky changes all of that. He has a strong arm and, like Allen, uses his legs to escape the pocket to try and extend plays and even run with it. That’s where the similarities end, though. Trubisky’s inability to consistently push the ball down the field has limited his development. Working with Allen and the team of coaches in place could help.’
