‘It was reported March 10 that Sanders would be released by the Saints, with the team officially announcing Tuesday they would do so. However, the move did not appear on the league’s official transaction report, meaning that it might not take effect until after the new league year starts at 4 p.m. Wednesday.’

Resetting the market at Bills’ positions of need ahead of official start to free agency
‘The Bills have potentially two job openings behind Devin Singletary and Zack Moss, depending on what happens with both Yeldon and Jones. The free-agent market is overflowing with veteran options, although the draft may be a better option at a position that favors youth.’

5 thoughts and a grade on Buffalo Bills signing Emmanuel Sanders
‘Sanders isn’t the kind of splash that Bills fans probably wanted but it’s a strategic signing that could prove to be important next season. The Bills offense soared, especially when Daboll was able to use 4 wide receiver sets. Age is a bit of a concern because of Sanders’ speed and the importance that plays in his ability to win. But he still was a big-time producer last season with the New Orleans Saints and should be able to pick up there in Buffalo.’

Bills’ Star Lotulelei returning for 2021 season (Report)
‘The return is big for a few reasons. First, Buffalo’s defensive line struggled without Lotulelei in the middle of their lineup. The 31-year-old defensive tackle was clearly missed as the team struggled to find a reliable 1-tech last season. The other reason Lotulelei’s return bodes well for the Bills is due to the fact that his retirement would have cost Buffalo an extra $4.7 million in 2021 salary cap according to Joe Buscaglia of The Athletic.’
