‘Trubisky gives the Bills one big upgrade over Barkley – mobility.’

How the Bills can find cap space for 2021
‘It’s not really Beane’s fault. The pandemic shorted the NFL a large chunk of revenue this season. That will cause the salary cap to decline instead of increase for the only the second time in the cap’s 27 year history. Almost every team is dealing with some sort of issues for 2021.’
QB Coach Dorsey expected to stay in Buffalo
‘Bills QB Coach Ken Dorsey was a name that was floated around for the Dolphins Offensive Coordinator role, but Ian Rapport says Miami is going in a different direction.’
Bills Today | One step the Bills can take to represent the AFC in Super Bowl LVI
‘The four-year ascent accomplished by coach Sean McDermott and general manager Brandon Beane could be taught at Team Building University. My “one thing” the Bills needed to do last year to make the Super Bowl was make life easier for QB Josh Allen, and they succeeded beyond anyone’s dreams, nearly making the big game. Now it’s time to clean up the defensively oriented McDermott’s side of the ball. There isn’t a pass rusher to be excited about. The secondary is missing at least one cornerback, and linebacker Matt Milano is about to be a free agent. With an explosive offense in great shape long-term, the best way to make Allen’s life easier now is to find more defensive difference-makers to slow down the Chiefs, especially up front.’
Defense analysis: Playing with the lead a ton didn’t boost Bills’ sack total
‘“That’s a critical area for our football team to improve,” coach Sean McDermott said in his season-ending news conference. “We have to be able to affect the quarterback with a four-man rush. I thought at times we did that and other times we could have been better just like our entire defense or entire football team, so there’s still meat on the bone there.”’
Bills re-sign offensive lineman Jordan Devey to one-year contract
‘Devey, 33, is entering his eighth NFL season. He has appeared in 44 career games, making 21 starts, during his time with the Bills, Raiders, Chiefs, 49ers and Patriots. The Bills have some uncertainty up front, with both right tackle Daryl Williams and right guard Jon Feliciano scheduled to become unrestricted free agents next month. Additionally, left guard Ike Boettger is scheduled to become a restricted free agent.’
Jason Wolf: It’s OK, Bills Mafia, to root for Tom Brady to win the Super Bowl
‘Taking joy in another’s misfortune is an admittedly ugly emotion, but just imagine Bill Belichick right now. Tell me that doesn’t make you smile.’
Here are four players Bills should cut to help tight salary cap situation
‘There’s nothing wrong with spending big on playmakers for Josh Allen, but Brown is no longer worth a $9.5 million salary cap hit that is sixth-highest on the team, especially when the Bills have a replacement ready to step into his role in Gabriel Davis.’
Demos: Plenty of talent at the Senior Bowl
‘While Felton played running back in college, he easily transitioned to WR last week, cooking plenty of DBs in the slot. I know wide receiver may not be the Bills’ top priority, but Felton is the type of weapon every modern NFL offense needs.’
Wyoming changed Bills QB Allen — Part 2
‘A potential student who otherwise wouldn’t have given the time of day or consideration to UW can’t help but imagine the possibilities of what their own stories of perseverance could be if they moved to the plains. Allen highlights the best of what Wyoming hopes to represent: hard work, grittiness and a down-to-earth lifestyle that, quite frankly, isn’t found everywhere.’
Opinion: 2021 State of the Bills: Quarterback
‘The biggest question at the quarterback position facing the Bills this offseason is whether or not to pay Josh Allen now, or wait another year.’
Bills re-sign OL Jordan Devey to one-year deal
‘The Bills brought in Devey after he was cut by the Las Vegas Raiders on September 1st. He spent most of the season on the Bills practice squad but did see action in the team’s week 7 game against the New York Jets, playing two snaps. Devey shared his enthusiasm about staying another year in Buffalo on his Instagram.’
Can the Buffalo Bills afford to keep LB Matt Milano?
‘There’s no denying Milano deserves a huge raise. Since joining the team as a fifth round pick in 2017, Milano has played a valuable role on the defense. During his rookie season, Milano played in all 16 regular season games and emerged as a starter towards the end of the season. Since his rookie year, when healthy, he’s been the man lining up beside fellow linebacker and two-time Pro Bowler Tremaine Edmunds.’
Bills DE A.J. Epenesa finishes rookie season with strong second half
‘Epenesa added some much needed youth to the Bills defensive end room but like most rookies, his first season didn’t come without some “bumps” in the road. I put bumps in quotes because he did too much of what the Bills asked of him to get ready for the season and that hurt him to start.’
How the Bills can find cap space for 2021
‘I might be the president of the Quinton Jefferson Fan Club. He’s versatile. He’s productive for a reserve player (three sacks and a fumble recovery each of the last three seasons). He’s a good guy and fits into any locker room. He’s also carrying an eight million dollar cap hit that the Bills can wipe away without even a penny of dead money. With Star Lotulelei returning, it’s hard not to see Beane hitting the escape clause on Jefferson’s contract.’
