‘“The one thing I’ll never forget was just the fact this was the third time the Bills were going back to the Super Bowl, and my first time. It’s the one game that you always talk about when you’re a kid. I was making sure I was going to bed on time and I listened to players like Bruce Smith (from Norfolk’s Booker T. Washington High), Cornelius Bennett and Darryl Talley about what to do. You want to make sure you’re productive and ready to play that game. And then there’s the awe that came before the kickoff, when you’re standing there looking around and the jets come flying above. Then you’re like, ‘Oh, my God, we’re in the Super Bowl.’ But once the game got going, it was a regular game. I was just blessed to be in that situation. And to be playing in that game with Matt Darby was special. We go all the way back to Brandon Middle School.”’
