‘”Not to be cliche or a broken record but it’s win number 12,” said Allen postgame. “All those records, it’s cool and in this and that, but the plan is to get to 13-3.”‘

14 numbers to know from Buffalo’s dominant victory over the Patriots | Week 16
‘50.3% >> Buffalo’s league-leading third-down conversion percentage is a big reason why the Bills offense is scoring at the rate they are this season. They’ve ranked number one in the league in this category for six of the 16 regular season weeks that have been played. And they’ve been ranked in the top five in this category for all but three weeks this season.’

Eric Wood | 5 opinions about the Bills from Week 16
‘Brian Daboll has been so impressive as a play-caller this entire season. He’s now getting national attention, but I’ll tell you what, the attention that he got from all those in Foxborough last night going against his former team I’m sure meant a lot to him. Brian Daboll is setting himself up to where he will get looks as to being a head coach and rightfully so. Hopefully, the Bills will be able to hang on to their Western New York native. It’s been awesome to see Brian Daboll script stuff this year that we haven’t seen in the past, but it’s dictated by the personnel they have. In these last few years there have been times where he’s been given hard times by the media and the fan base, but this year he’s obviously proven how great of an offensive mind he is.’
Bills Today | Bills are just scratching the surface of their potential
‘”I feel like we’re somewhat scratching the surface on the potential that we have … I don’t know the old Josh; I keep saying that I don’t know the past stuff I just know Josh right now,” Diggs explained. “He’s been playing some high-level football, so as a receiver and him being my guy as well, I just want to give it all I got for him. Make the plays for him, make the hard ones and there’s a couple of plays I want back that I wish I could have made for him. But we are just scratching the surface on trying to be great and chasing greatness daily.”‘
Bills make a statement on national TV
‘In the short term, as nice as Buffalo sweeping the Pats for the first time in nearly 20 years might have been, the immediate impact was bigger. It kept the Bills (12-3) as the No. 2 AFC seed over Pittsburgh (also 12-3) thanks to their head-to-head win over the Steelers two weeks ago.’
Vic Carucci: Josh Allen’s MVP argument gets louder in Bills’ pounding of Patriots
‘Against the Patriots, Allen threw for 320 yards, giving him a franchise-record eight 300-yard passing games in a season, and four touchdowns, three to Stefon Diggs. Allen’s 34 TD throws for the season broke the team record of 33 that Hall of Famer Jim Kelly set in 1991. Allen also broke Drew Bledsoe’s 2002 team records for completions (378 to Bledsoe’s 375) and total yards (4,738 to Bledsoe’s 4,426).’
Jason Wolf: Bills sweep Patriots, and Belichick can’t do anything about it
‘Allen completed 27 of 36 passes for 320 yards and four touchdowns. He set the single-season franchise record with 34 passing TDs, surpassing Jim Kelly’s 33 TDs in 1991, while spreading the ball to 10 different receivers. It was such a laugher, he was replaced by Matt Barkley with an entire quarter to play.’
10 observations: Josh Allen, Stefon Diggs make it look laughably easy in rout of Patriots
‘The Bills are the standard in the division now, and the presence of Diggs is a big reason why. It could be that way for a while, too.’
Analysis: Josh Allen, Stefon Diggs set strength of Pats defense on fire
‘Man coverage? Blitzes? Three-man rushes and eight men in coverage? The Bills’ third-year quarterback had the answers for all of it in the 38-9 destruction of New England.’
Quarter by quarter: Bills hand Bill Belichick worst home loss with Pats
‘Fake punt: Jaquan Johnson, the up-back on the punt team, took a direct snap and threw a 13-yard fake punt pass to Siran Neal to keep the Bills’ second drive alive.’
