‘”I’m calling on local business leaders and philanthropists to add to our donation so we can support as many businesses as possible. And to the Bills Mafia, I’ve seen what you are capable of. I want you to give what you can because without these small businesses, Buffalo is not the same secret,” Norman said.’

Jake Fromm prevents Bills from having Broncos QB situation
‘Offensive coordinator Brian Daboll credits Fromm’s effort and desire to learn during such an odd season. He does not believe Fromm’s development has been hindered by the Bills decision to separate him, just that he is progressing in a different way.’
McDermott and Bills now must ‘find a way’ from home
‘The Bills head coach says it’s similar to what the team faced early this season during the COVID shutdown but joked, ‘the stakes are a little higher now.”
AJ Klein changes his narrative in Buffalo
‘Under Sean McDermott’s defense in Carolina, Klein was a middle linebacker, now in Buffalo he’s on the outside. It might seem like a subtle move but it’s anything but.’
‘It’s a players’ game’ | How the Bills’ success on trick plays stacks up against the rest of the NFL
‘Daboll credited the high success rate to his players and pointed to Beasley’s pass to Davis an example. That was a “check with me” play that had been installed the week prior, meaning a decision on how to run the play would be made at the line of scrimmage based on the defensive coverage.’
What they’re saying | Bills enter the top five in NFL power rankings
‘The Bills are in good position to win their first AFC East title since 1995 but have faltered against the best teams in their conference this season. With Pittsburgh coming into town possibly still undefeated, it will be a prime opportunity for Buffalo to throw its hat in the ring of conference title contenders against arguably the best team in the NFL on “Sunday Night Football.” The Steelers’ defense also will provide a challenging litmus test for the Bills’ upstart passing offense.’
Bills Today | How Josh Norman is helping small businesses hurt by COVID-19
‘”Supporting small businesses is critical right now,” Norman said. “I didn’t want to just cut a check and walk away. I wanted to do something that would make a difference for the small business owners who are hurting the most right now. I’m calling on local business leaders and philanthropists to add to our donation so we can support as many small businesses as possible. Also to Bills Mafia, I’ve seen what you are capable of. I want you to give what you can because without these small businesses, Buffalo is just not the same secret.”‘
Bills must learn to protect their 2nd-half leads
‘But as the Bills embark on the home stretch of their season, there’s the reality that they’ve had trouble putting teams away.’
Analysis: Bills’ pass defense looks like old self in shutting down Keenan Allen
‘The Bills entirely took away the deep passing of rookie quarterback Justin Herbert – up until a 55-yard Hail Mary completion with 25 seconds left in the game.’
Upon Further Review: Playing ‘more free’ has unleashed Bills linebacker A.J. Klein
‘“Don’t tell him I’m saying this because he’s an Iowa State guy,” Hyde said of Klein, “but he’s one of the smartest players on our team. He’s like a coach out there. We call him ‘Coach Klein’ because he’s able to make adjustments, see things we’re talking about out there. He’s a great addition to our defense just because of what he’s able to do.”’
What we learned from Bills’ snap counts in Week 12 win, game ball and more
‘Devin Singletary made the most of his time – until the end. The second-year running back played a season-low 25 offensive snaps, but rushed 11 times for 82 yards. Singletary ran better than he has most of the season, but lost a fumble early in the fourth quarter that likely cut into his playing time. Singletary was outsnapped by rookie Zack Moss, 37 to 25, which is the biggest disparity between the two all season.’
Bills to play 49ers in Arizona in Week 13 and four more observations
‘”It doesn’t matter,” Bills coach Sean McDermott said. “I mean, wherever they tell us to play, that’s where we’ll go to play. We can’t control that and so it’s a home game for San Fran any way we look at it, and we’re the road team. That’s how we roll. We got to find a way. We’ve got plenty to work on here in between now and the game and that’s what we’re focused on.”‘
Position grades: Josh Allen keeps adding to his running credits
‘Allen was very good – except for a couple of plays on which he tried to do too much. One was when he tweaked his ankle trying to run a read option at Joey Bosa. Not a great idea. Another was when he tried to pick up a muffed snap instead of flopping on it. The interception for Stefon Diggs was thrown into double coverage, and Allen probably should have thrown it away. But the pressure was on him quickly. It was a tough play for the QB. Mostly, Allen expertly moved the chains. And his two, accurate deep passes – the one to Diggs that drew a pass interference and the one to Gabriel Davis – were big plays.’
Jim Kubiak: How Bills QB Josh Allen got Stefon Diggs involved, and about that late fumble
‘Allen’s overall quarterback performance grade was 90%, in spite of a scary-looking leg injury in the first half and back-to-back mishaps in the fourth quarter that could have swayed the outcome.’
Like the Bills victory, CBS broadcast was a little messy at times but entertaining
‘If you happened to catch the professional football contest on television Sunday between the Bills of Buffalo and the Chargers of Los Angeles it was a comedy of errors by the players, the officials, CBS’ graphic team and, yes, even the announcers at times.’
