Thad’s Three Things: Bills at 49ers
‘I’m not sure I’d use Klein in a standard defensive tackle spot all the time for fear that teams might run draws right at him. However, the thought of Jerry Hughes, Ed Oliver and Mario Addison in their usual pass rush positions with Klein, Milano and Edmunds dancing around behind the line and able to rush from anywhere should give Leslie Frazier an Evil Grinch smile.’
Josh Allen ‘dreamed’ of being a 49er

5 Bills-Niners storylines to watch for tonight
‘I know they have had an incredible amount of injuries that have taken stars off the field (Kittle, Jimmy G, Nick Bosa) but even with a compromised lineup the variance in their play has been substantial. They’ve beaten the Rams twice and lost to the Eagles. They blew out the Patriots in Foxboro and got blown out at home by the Dolphins. This isn’t the team that should have won the Super Bowl in February, but even with the changes you don’t know what you are getting week to week.’
NFL analysts | Bills at 49ers game predictions | Week 13
‘Florio’s take: The 49ers have a complex and diverse running game. The Bills have a hard time stopping the run. San Francisco continues its unlikely run to a playoff berth, where the 49ers will be very dangerous if they make it. Florio’s pick: 49ers 21, Bills 20.’

Bills Today | Buffalo’s primetime stretch starts tonight
‘”When you’re in the national spotlight usually you got a pretty good team. Although when you have a routine, and you’re playing a lot of one o’clock games, and that sometimes tells you maybe how you’re perceived also. So, although we all love playing home at one o’clock to get home to be able to get to spend time with family because we all work a lot. It is nice to be recognized when you have as many primetime games as we’re getting. It means you’re respected around the league and it’s great for our fans too, it’s nice for our fans to be recognized as well. I think the long and short of it is that we know what it is, and we’ve got to be comfortable being uncomfortable and knowing that we’re not going to have normal weeks from here on out. That’s including this week, so I think it’s a great opportunity for us as an organization and I know our players are looking forward to it as well starting this week.”‘
Bills as healthy as they’ve been all season ahead of ‘Monday Night Football’
‘The big remaining question for the Bills centers on the status of linebacker Matt Milano. He remains on injured reserve, but can be activated at any point before 4 p.m. Monday and still play against the 49ers.’
Inside the Bills: How rookie quarterback Jake Fromm is staying ready in case of emergency
‘“Day to day for me, I’m in the building. I’m doing the same things the other guys are doing. The real major difference is when we’re sitting down in the meetings, I’m a little bit further away than the guys already are,” Fromm said. “When the rest of the team goes out to practice, I’ll go in the weight room, because obviously there are a lot less people in the weight room when everybody is outside practicing. So I’ll get my workout done and then go get dressed in the locker room. I’ll go out to practice about halfway through and watch the team periods. I’ll stay out after practice and throw to a couple guys and basically get my practice there – that 30 minutes after practice is over with, make sure I get all the throws I need to get done.”’
One-on-One Coverage: Takeo Spikes on ‘Friday night football’ atmosphere with Bills
‘“But when people ask me what the teams are that I really root for, hands-down, it’s Buffalo and San Francisco,” he said. “And I truly can say I love both equally. Now, when people ask me what team did I really enjoy just playing football for? It has to be the Buffalo Bills. It reminded me so much of Friday night football here in Georgia. And then they ask me, what was your favorite city that you stayed in and played football? I always say San Francisco. I trained there when I was coming out for the draft. I just loved the diversity. I’m a people person.”’
Bills’ Cole Beasley to eat vs. 49ers? (6 things to watch)
‘Whether it is Moseley or the 49ers’ fourth option at the nickel cornerback spot, Cole Beasley should find himself in a favorable matchup. Considering Beasley’s ability to beat the best of the best off the line, the Bills should make getting Beasley the ball a focal point on Monday night.’
