‘Allen was very good – except for a couple of plays on which he tried to do too much. One was when he tweaked his ankle trying to run a read option at Joey Bosa. Not a great idea. Another was when he tried to pick up a muffed snap instead of flopping on it. The interception for Stefon Diggs was thrown into double coverage, and Allen probably should have thrown it away. But the pressure was on him quickly. It was a tough play for the QB. Mostly, Allen expertly moved the chains. And his two, accurate deep passes – the one to Diggs that drew a pass interference and the one to Gabriel Davis – were big plays.’
