Kim Pegula says NFL trying hard to push needle on minority coaching hirings
‘“Our thought behind that was, listen, we want to encourage the development of our diverse coaches and our diverse GMs,” Pegula said. “When a team brings somebody into the fold, especially in a lower position – they put the time and the effort into it – we want to really make sure that the opportunities are equal for all coaches. Having someone you’ve (dedicated) the time and effort into, and then having them become a head coach, it’s great. It’s wonderful for them.”’
