‘In fact, the Bills were on the brink of the worst collapse in franchise history, and the fourth-worst blown lead in the annals of the NFL. But really, has it ever been easy with this bunch? Is any game complete without them torturing their fans in some way?’

Buffalo sports fans are loving what they have — and what Toronto doesn’t
‘While the Jays have made the playoffs as a Buffalo-based team, the Bills are surging as a contender in the AFC East after a late-game comeback salvaged a wild 35-32 home win over the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday. Terry and Kim Pegula ended up outbidding the Rogers/Tanenbaum/Bon Jovi group and a New York businessman named Donald Trump for the team back in ’14, and slowly the Bills have built a winner with exciting young players.’
Josh Allen outdoes Bills great Jim Kelly as Buffalo starts 3-0 with win over Rams
‘“We’ve had some, and it was always, ‘We’ll see. We’ll see. … Yeah, he’s got the potential, but we’ll see.’ With Josh, I think he’s proven to everybody he can play. Now he just has to stay healthy. Number two, being in the same system a number of years is going to help. And three, it’s getting the players around him.”’

Bills’ Josh Allen establishing himself as MVP candidate — and next Jim Kelly
‘Could Allen be the next Kelly? He could be better.’
Bills survive Rams’ epic rally thanks to controversial penalty
‘On a fourth-and-8 at the Rams’ 13, Rams corner Darious Williams was called for a questionable pass-interference penalty on Bills receiver Gabriel Davis. Allen’s pass was incomplete but the flag gave the Bills a first down at the Rams’ 3, and Allen promptly put the Bills ahead.’
Josh Allen’s early MVP case only gets stronger with wild Bills win
‘Allen, the third quarterback taken in the 2018 draft (No. 7 overall) behind Cleveland’s Baker Mayfield (No. 1) and the Jets’ Sam Darnold (No. 3), has engineered seven fourth-quarter comeback wins in his first three seasons. The Bills have started 3-0 for two consecutive seasons for the first time since 1991-92.’
Bills Rally To Beat Rams 35-32 After Blowing 25-Point Lead
‘Allen now has had a hand in 12 touchdowns, the most in team history through the first three games of the season. Hall of Famer Jim Kelly held the record of 10, set in 1991.’
Bills vs. Rams final score: Buffalo bounces back after blowing 25-point lead to remain undefeated
‘For as long as the quarterback holds the ball, the Buffalo offensive line has held up well. He has received huge contributions from wide receivers Stefon Diggs, rookie Gabriel Davis and Cole Beasley.’
Judgments III: Josh Allen just gave us another reason to believe in the Bills
‘A smart GM once told me he measured greatness in quarterbacks by how they operate under pressure – emphasizing how they perform in the last two minutes with the game on the line. Well, we just saw how Josh Allen performed. He saved the Bills from a crushing collapse.’
Bills hold on for thrilling 35-32 win over the Rams
‘The return of Matt Milano and Tremaine Edmunds to the Bills’ lineup was immediately noticeable in the first half. The Rams offense moved the ball well from the start of the game, but big plays from Milano, A.J. Epensea and Taron Johnson, haulted some of Los Angeles’ early drives, keeping the Rams off the scoreboard. Levi Wallace also stepped up, just as defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier said he needed to earlier this week, and intercepted Jared Goff to stop another good series from the Rams. Goff and the Rams turned things around in the second half and really had the Bills defense on its heels. Los Angeles finished with over 400 yards of total offense. Certainly, Frazier and this group will have a lot to discuss as they prepare for next week.’
Bills’ third quarter performances continue to be concerning
‘The one thing that should really concern all of us, though – it appears the defense has taken a considerable step back as a group. They gave up 28 points to Ryan Fitzpatrick in Week 2 and followed it up by getting gashed by Darrell Henderson, Jr. for over 100 yards on the ground, and 300 yards passing from Jared Goff, including an alarming 32 second half points.’
Josh Allen gets last laugh over Jalen Ramsey in epic Bills win
‘Ramsey held up his end of the bargain by only allowing one reception, however, that reception just so happened to be a touchdown to Stefon Diggs.’
These guys are good… scary good
‘Los Angeles basically shredded the Bills defense from that point on, as they scored 29 straight points on four drives over 18-and-a-half minutes. But Allen, a.k.a Mr. Fourth Quarter, guided the Bills down the field on a drive that included some big throws and some scary situations. Allen tried to do too much by himself moments. With Stefon Diggs having a quiet day and John Brown sidelined by an injury, Cole Beasley became the big playmaker in the passing game. He had receptions of 18, 22 and 19 yards. The 22-yard catch came on a third-and-22 play.’
Arrow Up/Arrow Down – Rams at Bills
‘I’ve been following the Bills since I was a child and I’ve never seen them give up a lead like they did on Sunday. But it wasn’t just the lead given up, it was how quickly and easily it seemed to happen. The Bills led 28-3 with 8:05 left in the third quarter. They were in complete control. They had a west coast team dead and buried, ready to send them packing early and want to get back home. But they gave up a quick 8-play drive for a TD, got intercepted (albeit on a controversial call), then gave up an even quicker 3-play TD drive, then went three-and-out. The Rams scored agin and the lead had basically evaporated. It was stunning, especially for a Sean McDermott coached team, a McDermott/Leslie Frazier coached defense, and an offense that could seemingly do whatever they wanted until things turned.’
