‘Schefter says the total value of the deal is $82.1 million.’

Buffalo Bills 2020 roster cuts
‘Some of these players could possibly be added to the practice squad. The players will have to clear waivers before doing so. Nothing is official until the player is released, clear waivers then reigns under the practice team.’
Tre White signs four-year extension, keeping him in Buffalo until 2025
‘White has proven himself as an elite cornerback in the league after being drafted 27th overall by the Bills in the 2017 draft. He made his first Pro Bowl in 2019 and was named first-team All-Pro as well.’
Bills get down to 53: Murphy, Fromm make roster, Foster cut
‘Veteran defensive end Trent Murphy stuck on the roster, he was considered a potential cap casualty. Cutting him would have saved $8 million, which could have been carried over to 2021. Murphy may have been able to stay on the roster after Tre White signed his extension. White’s deal won’t go into effect until 2022, saving money next season.’
Bills Tre White gets paid
‘Right before White arrived in Orchard Park, the Bills watched as Stephon Gilmore not only left in free agency, but signed with the Patriots. The difference was Gilmore could not wait to leave and White loves it in Buffalo. Now the Bills can focus their attention on a player like linebacker Matt Milano who is scheduled to become a free agent at season’s end.
Tre’Davious White gets four-year extension from Bills
‘He has signed a four-year contract that will keep him in Buffalo through 2025.’
Bills make final cuts before season
‘The Bills are expected to re-sign WR/KR Andre Roberts and DB Dean Marlowe back to the 53-man roster on Sunday after placing players on IR.’
Bills sign All-Pro Tre’Davious White to a four-year extension
‘To say that White earned a significant second contract would be an understatement. From the time he secured a starting job in his rookie season with the Bills and had a major impact in Buffalo victories in 2017 (See: Atlanta, Tampa Bay, Kansas City) to making his first Pro Bowl, being named All-Pro and tying for the league lead in interceptions and not surrendering a touchdown this past season, White has done it all in his young career.’
Bills announce these moves to get to the 53-man roster limit
‘Tommy Sweeney’s designation of Reserve/PUP means he cannot participate in practice with the club until the start of Week 7 at the earliest. Christian Wade is eligible to come back to the roster as the team’s designated International Player if he clears waivers.’
5 things to know about the initial 2020 Bills roster
‘This is the first time under head coach Sean McDermott that the club kept three quarterback for the initial assembly of the roster. McDermott did mention there could be different kinds of considerations navigating a season during COVID-19.’
Practice squad’s new rules make Bills’ cuts easier
‘And, some of today’s cuts are easy.’
Harrison Phillips ready for full workload after healthy Bills camp
‘“Whatever Coach McDermott tells me to do, I’m doing it,” Phillips said. “If I just had to ballpark, I would say that every two-hour practice we had, we’re getting 35 snaps each practice at a minimum, and that’s in the team period. It’s not including 1-on-1 pass rush or individual periods. The whole defensive line is probably getting closer to 45 snaps, 100% getting off the ball and using your hands at practice. So, obviously, we’d be capable. I know my body definitely can handle 35 snaps, no question.”’
Bills place fullback Patrick DiMarco on IR, ending his season
‘The move leaves the Bills without a fullback on the roster. Undrafted rookie Reggie Gilliam had been wearing a fullback number (41), but switched to a tight end number (86) this week and coach Sean McDermott said he considers Gilliam a tight end. It’s possible the Bills could go without a fullback for the early part of the season and use an extra tight end in short yardage or goal-line situations, when a fullback would be used.’
Bills place Patrick DiMarco on season-ending IR, release Vosean Joseph, Corey Thompson
‘DiMarco missed all of training camp with a neck injury. Since the Bills put him on IR before Saturday’s cutdown deadline, he won’t be eligible to return once the season begins. Had the Bills kept him on the 53-man roster he’d have been eligible to go on IR with the potential of returning in 2020. Since they didn’t it’s likely they reach an injury settlement at some point. DiMarco was set to make $1.9 million this season.’
Robert Foster: Buffalo Bills looking to trade wide receiver?
‘Foster, 26, is coming off of a disappointing 2019 campaign (3-64), but teams may remember how impressive the wide receiver was down the stretch for Buffalo in 2018. Foster recorded 90-yards receiving or more four times from Week 10-16. A lot of Foster’s production came on balls thrown deep down the field.’
