‘Okay, so the Bills made the playoffs then, but they were only 9-7 and made it in because other teams in the hunt lost out. I moved back with my parents in 2018, and the Bills missed the playoffs again. Then I moved out to Michigan, a completely different state, and not only do the Bills make the playoffs again in 2019, but they have their first 10-win season since that fateful 1999 season ended by the Music City Miracle. I know there are very logical explanations for everything that happened to the team, but the superstitious side of me can’t help but wonder.’

Bills sign ex-Packers receiver Kumerow to practice squad
‘The Packers’ decision to cut Kumerow was considered one of their biggest surprises in establishing their 53-player roster on Saturday. And it came on the heels of Rodgers calling Kumerow “super reliable” while discussing Green Bay’s receivers.’
Bills Built To Win Now With Majority Of Starters Returning
‘Team built to win now, and claiming first AFC East title since 1995 is realistic goal, especially with Tom Brady no longer standing in Bills’ way in New England. Buffalo has drastically rebuilt depth at most every position in making playoffs two of past three seasons under McDermott and GM Brandon Beane. Much falls on Allen’s shoulders to prove he can continue upward trend in developing into bona fide starter at position that’s been unsettled since Hall of Famer Jim Kelly retired following 1996 season.’
Buffalo Bills 2020 season preview: Can Josh Allen lead them to a title?
‘Buffalo won 10 games with a relatively easy schedule in 2019 but got better on both sides of the ball this offseason. Working in the Bills’ favor is that they improved while making minimal roster additions, keeping their league-leading continuity intact. With a defense ranked among the top three returning mostly together and a plethora of weapons on offense, Buffalo should see double-digit wins once again in 2020.’
Buffalo Bills: What to know about the team’s 2020 season
‘The pressure is on for third-year quarterback Josh Allen as head coach Sean McDermott is looking to do more than just improve on their 10-6 record. The Bills are hoping to take home the Divisional Championship, unseating the New England Patriots who have won the title every year since 2008, when the Miami Dolphins were AFC East champs.’
Allen-Diggs connection has opportunity to start strong vs Jets
‘To go up against Diggs, a top-tier route runner, deep threat, and overall WR in their first game is a tough ask for anybody. Neither Desir or Austin present the kind of talent that should make anyone worried about Diggs getting shut down.’
Beane: Tre’Davious White contract extension ‘a win-win’ for both sides
‘”It’s a win-win. That’s the best deal. We wanted something fair for the Bills and fair for Tre. As I said [on Monday], I am super happy for this young man. He has done everything we could ask for a player three years in. He’s such a pro, he’s so well loved, he brings a great energy to our locker room, and beyond that he’s a damn good player.”‘
Bills add receiver Jake Kumerow to the practice squad
‘Kumerow gives the Bills added depth both on offense at wide receiver and on special teams. In Green Bay last season, Kumerow played roughly a third of their snaps on both offense and special teams.’
Takeaways on Tre
‘While White is currently the highest-paid corner in the league, Beane probably saved the Pegulas some money by getting this done before some other top corners like Jalen Ramsey, Marshon Lattimore and Marlon Humphrey get their next deal.’
Dunne: ‘I’d put my money on Belichick’ always shutting down Josh Allen
‘“I just felt like when they had to cut him loose, he’s going to have to win you that type of game against Patrick Mahomes, Deshaun Watson, Lamar Jackson,” Dunne continued. “They tempt you into a shootout; you can’t win that 17-14 game that Sean McDermott wants to win in mid-January. To reel off three playoffs wins in a row, I just don’t know if he has it in him. Maybe he does, maybe he doesn’t. But we’ve seen nothing to suggest he does so far, and I’d put my money on Belichick to shut him down – and really, shut him down for good over time.”’
Get ready to vote Bills Mafia! Bills vs. Packers in final of NFL on FOX Ultimate Fan Bracket
‘Bills Mafia defeated the fans of the San Francisco 49ers, Miami Dolphins, Pittsburgh Steelers, and New Orleans Saints on the way to the final.’
Thurman Thomas and golfers play 100 holes for Oishei
‘“We picked a perfect day, being out here with friends and people from Oishei Children’s Hospital, we’ve been knowing them for a long period of time. I’ve known some people that have done 100 holes and they say it’s tough, but once you get out here and once you start swinging the golf club, hitting the ball and start having fun, you forget about counting how many holes you’ve played up until this point. It’s a great foundation, we love what they do for the community, and since we’re here full-time Buffalonians, we decided to jump right in, so it’s been great since 6:00 this morning.”’
No longer underdogs, but Mitch Morse won’t ‘buy into the hype’
‘”No one has higher expectations on themselves or on this team than me.”
Devin Singletary ready for week one of his sophomore season
‘”I would say I’m a lot more confident, and I was confident last year,” he said. “This year the game is slower, I know what to expect from our offense in terms of what we’re looking for. So yeah, it’s what it comes down to, the game is slower and I’m more confident than I was last year.”‘
What Dawson Knox and Jerry Hughes said about the Bills heading into Week 1
‘”Now, it’s like I can start breaking down film deeper on what DBs are doing in certain coverages and really knowing what page [quarterback] Josh [Allen] wants to be on with me, the timing with him. So, I think I’ve been able to focus a lot more on those little things where I can play a lot faster this year, so I’m excited for that.”‘
