Bills re-sign Andre Roberts, Dean Marlowe

‘The Bills had told Roberts and Marlowe they expected to re-sign them after they were released. Because the players had four or more seasons of experience, they were free to sign with any team. Roberts reportedly drew interest from at least three other clubs, but kept his promise to return to the Bills.’

In the Buffalo Bills’ case that number could actually be 17 thanks to a possible roster exemption for Christian Wade. Six of the practice squad spots can be taken by veterans who have more than two accrued seasons. This is a new addition that will benefit teams.’
