‘“If it was not for Kenny Davis, I probably would not have played as long as I did,” Thomas said. “Kenneth Davis was my backup for six years with the Bills, and for him to come in and get seven to 10 carries, or sometimes even more, that took a lot of pressure off me. So I do think at this point, even in Devin’s early career right now, having a second running back is important. And the running back that they got, Zack, from Utah, he’s going to open a lot of eyes.”’
