‘“I’ve talked to a lot of people who are actually almost traumatized that they might not be able to tailgate at the home opener, because they miss it so much and they love it so much,” said Ken Johnson, aka “Pinto Ron,” whose theatrics attract more than a thousand revelers at the Red Pinto Tailgate. “The most chatter I’m getting is everyone’s in total denial, the die-hard fans that show up in Hammer Lot every week.”’

Bills Mailbag: Should the team simply have cut quarterback Jake Fromm?
‘The Bills have shown a willingness under McDermott and Beane to provide players with a second chance. They could have cut undrafted rookie linebacker Tyrel Dodson last year after he was arrested on a domestic charge, but instead let the legal process play out and eventually gave him a job on the practice squad. Similarly, they could have cut Fromm on Thursday, but instead have committed to giving him a chance to build a relationship with the team – and prove his worth as a player.’
Former Buffalo Bills DE Shaq Lawson tells Jake Fromm you ‘couldn’t be a teammate of mine’
‘On Saturday, Lawson called out Bills fifth-round pick Jake Fromm. Quote tweeting Fromm’s apology, Lawson told the rookie quarterback that he didn’t want his apology. He added that he couldn’t be Fromm’s teammate and said that he would have checked Fromm at the door. In other words, Lawson would not have welcomed Fromm into the Bills’ locker room had he remained in Buffalo.’
Robert Foster, Duke Williams part of Bills’ improving wide-receiver corps
‘But in an improved receiving corps, Foster played less than half the offensive snaps in 2019 that he did in 2018, although he became a bigger factor on special teams. Foster had three receptions on 18 targets for 64 yards. He was on the field for 214 offensive snaps and 157 special-teams plays and gained 29 yards on his first two NFL rushing attempts last season.’
Quinton Jefferson excited for next chapter in Buffalo
‘Since GM Brandon Beane and Head Coach Sean Mcdermott took over, the Bills culture has drastically shifted and now players want to be part of what’s cooking in Buffalo, including newly signed defensive lineman Quinton Jefferson. “When you get good coaches, good staff and good players, you can shift the culture of a place and whole viewpoint of a place,” Jefferson mentioned in a media zoom call.’
