‘Dolphins’ teams were disciplined and that was a key part of their success. That speaks to Shula’s ability to connect with players across multiple generations. Whether he was a young coaching mind or part of the NFL’s old guard, he was respected by his players.’

‘“I tried to pay rent. I tried to pay a bill or two and he kept turning me down,” Addison said. “That’s why I’m always grateful to Jerry. He housed me. He took on a role as a vet when he was only in his second year, as well. He took on leadership already. He took me up under his wing when he was fragile like I am. I’m very grateful for that.”’

UCF’s Gabe Davis ready to continue success with Buffalo Bills
‘“I got a call they told me it was the Buffalo Bills and you know it was awesome and once my name showed up on screen that’s when I got real emotional because you sacrifice a lot to be in these positions,” Davis said. “Every player in the NFL sacrifices a lot. And I feel like nobody knows the type of sacrifice, commitment, the discipline and determination we put into this game and how important it is to us. I just know I could sit back and breath for a second knowing I got my goal to get drafted.”’
3 things to know | Mario Addison
‘Addison said at times he thought the sport wasn’t for him but had the passion to keep pushing. Ten years later, Buffalo now gets this fire and heart in the defensive line room. His past three seasons in sack production look like this—11 in 2017, 9 in 2018 and 9.5 in 2019. Since 2016, his 39 sacks rank 11th in the NFL. Having a mindset like this amongst the defensive linemen as well as the team will help young players continue to grow like Ed Oliver and Darryl Johnson.’

Athletic trainer for Zack Moss, Gabriel Davis will give Bills ‘everything you ask’
‘”They drafted two kids who are going to come in and play right away because they’re going to study their playbook,” Gaines said of Moss and Davis. “They’re never, ever going to get in trouble. They’re going to give you everything you ask. The great part about them is that they already were kind of like pros, because they’ve both been working out, hanging out with pros the last few months.’
Why Buffalo Bills’ Zack Moss is excited to play in front of Bills Mafia
‘“They love their football,” Moss said to Fox. “I’ve been told countless times now how much they love their football. It’s more of a college town type of thing with an NFL team. And, you know, I think that’s really good. So I’m happy that the fans, the Bills Mafia, are going to embrace me… So I’m just happy to go out there on Sundays and play in front of them.”’
McDermott: With load of offseason additions, Bills are best they’ve been in his stint

Hannabill Lecter breaks down Bills 2020 draft class
‘Once again, the Bills were fortunate to find great value with this selection. Many expected Buffalo to get a complimentary back to Devin Singletary, but the Bills may have done one better as Moss could quickly earn the lionshare of the carries. Moss averaged 5.4 yards per carry, 1,400 yards and 15 touchdowns at Utah. Moss has said that he wants to emulate Marshawn Lynch with his bruising style of running. Bills fans can only hope that he has that kind of career and immediate impact.’
Kiper: Bills got a steal in Moss
‘“We thought he was a second (round pick),” Kiper said of the Utah running back. “He certainly has all the production. He’s got the versatility. In the third round last year they got Devin Singletary out of Florida Atlantic, who had a really good rookie year. He was a key element in that offense for Josh Allen. Really was a key to them getting as far as they got. I think (Moss) will be a really good one-two punch with Singletary. I like the sixth-round pick Hodgins, but I do think Moss on the third round was a steal by about a round. I thought he should have gone in the second round.”’
