‘“I reached out to a friend of mine who works for the American Cancer Society just trying to see if I could help,” Wallace said, “and she asked me if I played video games. She brought up the idea of Gamers vs. Cancer. I play video games already as is, so I was all for it. Cancer’s always been a big part of my life. I lost my aunt when I was in high school and my granddad to prostate cancer when I was really young, so I just wanted to give back during this time. Cancer does not stop during all this.”’
