‘The Bills are sitting on more than $80 million in salary cap space with the start of free agency two weeks away, but it’s been thought that a good chunk of that will go to deals for players entering the final year of their contract. Included on that list for the Bills are cornerback Tre’Davious White, linebacker Matt Milano and left tackle Dion Dawkins.’

‘”A Quiet Place Part II,” a major motion picture set to hit theaters this month, filmed for much of the summer in western New York and the Hudson Valley, a decision that entitles Paramount Pictures to millions of dollars in state tax breaks. State records show some of the movie’s crew got another state-backed perk: a suite for a Buffalo Bills game.’
Buffalo Bills promote DC Leslie Frazier to Assistant Head Coach
‘Shea Tierney has been a big part of Josh Allen’s development and he was promoted to assistant quarterback coach for his efforts. Bills offensive coordinator Brian Daboll said in September right as the 2019 season was starting that Tierney was someone who the coaching staff believed was important to bringing Allen along.’
Buffalo Bills GM talks potential Tre’Davious White extension
‘“Any guy that’s in Tre’s situation that we want back– and obviously Tre’s a guy we love and want back–you do look and try and find what the value is,” Beane said. “And it’s hard because it can sometimes be hard for agents, too. Because they’re trying to look at what the market is today versus what’s it going to be in two years. Do they want to play it out? Do they want security now? Some guys are truly fine with playing it out and seeing where it goes in two years. Some guys want the security and that’s what it gets to.’
If Jaguars tag Yannick Ngakoue, don’t rule out Buffalo Bills trying to trade for him
‘“We’re not going to go (into free agency) and just throw a bunch of money [around],” Beane said in January. “We probably won’t be spending at the deep end of the pool like we did last year.”’

He is a great example to everyone within our organization.”’
Bills promote Leslie Frazier to assistant head coach
‘Despite his success with the Bills defense over the past two years, Frazier’s name has rarely, if ever, come up as a candidate for any of the league’s head-coach openings — something he is keenly aware of. He said he takes solace in the recognition he receives from his peers around the league.’
Buffalo Bills Need More Help For Josh Allen, But No Consensus On How To Do That
‘One thing that remains almost a certainty is that Buffalo will not be in the market to to try to land an elite wide receiver like A.J. Green or Amari Cooper in free agency. It’s widely speculated that the Bills will use the draft to build up their receiving corps because the receiver class this year is very deep.’
Bills promote Leslie Frazier and four others, create two new positions
‘Salgado is now the Nickel DB Coach, which is another indication of how football has evolved over the past several years and how important the Nickel/slot cornerback position is to a team. Salgado was previously a defensive assistant, but now will apparently strictly work with that inside cornerback position.’
Beane: It takes two to get a deal done
‘“[Drafting and developing players] is the ideal way. When it’s time to re-sign a guy that you have on your roster, it takes two. The best deals are win-win, a win for the player and a win for the Bills. Sometimes we want to sign or re-sign a guy here, and the agent just feels that the market is higher than where we see it, and so those deals don’t get done. Or, vice versa, [the player] feels this isn’t necessarily the right spot for them, or they want to wait. Sometimes guys just want to wait and see what free agency holds this year or how the market shapes out, and just get a little bit more clarity on it. And I think one of the things going on right now is the CBA, there hasn’t been a lot of deals and I think a lot of people are waiting to see if a new CBA is ratified, and what that would do to the cap this year, and also what it would start looking like in 2021 and beyond.”’

‘Before coming to the Bills, Frazier was Head Coach of the Minnesota Vikings (2011-2013), Defensive Coordinator of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2014-2015), and Secondary Coach of the Baltimore Ravens (2016) among other coaching credits.’
Leslie Frazier named Assistant Head Coach
‘“I’m definitely pleased and honored that Sean along with Kim and Terry would feel moved to place that title alongside my name,” Frazier told BuffaloBills.com. “I don’t know how much it changes my role. I feel like Sean and I communicate on so many things regarding our team. I just appreciate that our ownership along with our head coach felt the desire to put that title next to my name. Just very appreciative.”’
Bills DC Leslie Frazier given additional title of Assistant head coach
‘”Upon taking the job in Buffalo, it was important to me to add a coach with previous head coaching experience like Leslie,” McDermott said. “His fingerprints are all over our operation and I’m extremely grateful for all the years we have worked together. Leslie’s impact on our team is felt every day through his guidance, wisdom, and his genuine care for people. He is a great example to everyone within our organization.”‘
Bills GM open to locking up important young pieces when time is right
‘”We’d like to get guys done or re-done if we can,” Beane said. “That’s the ideal way. When it’s time to sign a guy or re-sign a guy that you have on your roster, it always takes two to figure it out. The best deals are win-win. A win for the player and a win for the Bills and so sometimes we want to sign a guy or re-sign a guy here and the agent just feels that the market is higher than where we see the value and those deals don’t get done or vice versa. They might feel that this is not necessarily the right spot for them or they want to wait. Sometimes guys just want to see what free agency yields over here or how the market shakes out just to get a little more clarity on it.”‘
