Bills Mitch Morse and his wife donate $100,000 to local charity
‘“One thing we’ve reflected on is how much the Buffalo community has changed our lives,” Morse said in a video posted to the Bills twitter page. “The best plan of action would be to donate $100,000 to FeedMore WNY. They’re delivering food to the elderly… they’re also expanding their backpack program which is giving students in four different counties, thousands of students, food.”’
Bills sign Jordan Poyer to a two-year extension
‘Over the last three seasons, Poyer is tied for second in the league among safeties in interceptions with 11 over that span. He’s also second on the Bills in INTs since 2017, trailing only first team All-Pro Tre’Davious White (12).’
Why Jordan Poyer is excited about Buffalo’s roster additions and the changes in AFC East
‘”Obviously (it’s important) targeting some of the guys they brought in on the defensive line,” said Poyer. “Guys who have played in the league and can come in and make an impact right away.”‘
Bills center Mitch Morse and his wife donate $100,000 to FeedMore WNY
‘”We’re not in Buffalo right now. We’re in Kansas City. You hear about everyone around the country that’s being affected by this – not just by getting sick but economically taking a hit also,” explained Mitch. “I think the thing that stuck out to me and Caitlin the most was the kids everywhere who were getting these meals at schools but can’t right now. That also sparked the thought, ‘Well, if these kids are being affected, I’m sure there are other venues and groups of people that are also feeling the wrath of the economic change brought on by this crisis.”

Pollock: ‘League season,’ Diggs trade, Bills’ free agent addees
‘As for the price, it’s a bit steep. But, with the Bills having nine draft choices and general manager Brandon Beane insisting that not all of them would make the 53-man roster, Buffalo had some extra collateral. As it is, he still has seven draft selections, one each in Rounds 2-5, two in the sixth and one in the seventh.’
Age is just a number for Mario Addison, Bills’ consistent new edge rusher
‘Addison, who turns 33 in September, has nine-plus sacks in four straight seasons, which is the second longest streak among active players in the NFL. He had 9.5 sacks in 2019, 9.0 in 2018, 11.0 in 2017 and 9.5 in 2016. Despite that, Addison never has made the Pro Bowl, which is why he’s annually listed among the NFL’s more underrated players. He’s never placed in the elite category of the league’s edge rushers, but he consistently produces.’

‘The Miami Dolphins lured cornerback Byron Jones away from the Dallas Cowboys for a free-agent contract worth $16.5 million a year. The five-year deal is valued at $82.5 million with a $15 million signing bonus. According to multiple reports, $54 million is guaranteed. The deal is good news for Buffalo cornerback Tre’Davious White – and there will be more good news to come for the Bills’ Pro Bowler.’

4 things to know about new Buffalo Bills RB Taiwan Jones
‘In 14 games with Buffalo, Jones recorded one catch for 11 yards. Most of his contributions came on special teams. While Jones will likely help on special teams it’s unlikely that he will be part of the team’s running back competition behind Devin Singletary.’
5 thoughts and a grade on Buffalo Bills signing DL Quinton Jefferson
‘The nice part about the Jefferson signing is that he can play both on the edge and move inside to tackle. When it comes to position flexibility, departing edge rusher Shaq Lawson had the most on the defensive line. He was able to move inside when needed. Jefferson now takes over that role while also being able to provide the push inside that the Bills lose with Jordan Phillips’ departure.’
5 thoughts and a grade on Buffalo Bills signing DT Vernon Butler
‘Obviously he knows McDermott because he played for him one season when he was still the defensive coordinator in Carolina. But Butler will also have former DC Eric Washington, who is now the Bills’ defensive line coach. Butler had his success last season partly because of the continuity built on the Panthers line. He will join forces again with Addison in Buffalo, and he played one season with Lotulelei before he left Carolina for the Bills.’
