‘Besides having been Panthers guards, the other quality Williams and Van Roten share is they would be far cheaper to sign than higher-end offensive linemen in free agency. That list includes guards Joe Thuney of the New England Patriots, Brandon Scherff of the New York Giants, and tackles Anthony Castonzo of the Indianapolis Colts, Jack Conklin of the Tennessee Titans and Bryan Bulaga of the Green Bay Packers.’

If Josh Norman doesn’t make Bills’ 53-man roster here’s how much money he’ll make
‘Norman’s deal has a base salary of $2.8 million with $1.5 million in guaranteed money. He’ll get a $1.5 million roster bonus on the fifth day of the league year (March 23) and then another $500k if he makes the Bills’ 53-man roster. He’ll receive a $200k workout bonus and up to $1 million in per-game roster bonuses, incentives based on playing time, interceptions, Pro Bowl and/or All Pro honors, per Graziano.’
NFL Rumors: Bills’ Shaq Lawson to get $12 million per season on free agent market next week?
‘Pelissero reported on Wednesday that several big-name free agents are set to earn bigger contracts on the open market than anticipated next week. Lawson was included with Dallas Cowboys defensive end Robert Quinn, Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul, Los Angeles Rams edge Dante Fowler and New York Giants edge Markus Golden as a tier of free agent pass rushers that could earn contracts in the $12-$15 million per season range.’
Source: Buffalo Bills interested in former Browns LB Christian Kirksey
‘The former Browns linebacker was released after failing to stay healthy in the last two seasons. When he was on the field, Kirksey was a productive player for the Browns. He lead the Browns in tackles (148) during the 2016 season and finished second on the team the following year with 138 total tackles. Ankle and hamstring injuries limited Kirksey to just seven games in 2018 and a season-ending pectoral injury ended his 2019 campaign after just two games.’
Details of Josh Norman’s Bills contract reported
‘Based on the details of Graziano’s report, if Norman is still on the Bills’ roster on March 22 (which should be a virtual certainty) he will have $3 million in total guaranteed and paid out money from the team. The rest of the $6 million of his contract will come in in-season salary and bonuses. If the team were to release Norman prior to opening day, they’d have to take on a $3 million salary cap hit in 2020. If Norman is on the team all season he’ll count the full $6 million against the team’s cap.’
