Buffalo Bills RB Frank Gore explains why he thinks Tremaine Edmunds is going to be great

‘“The guy who is next to me is Tremaine (Edmunds),” Gore told the SiriusXM hosts. “Man, he asks about every linebacker I played against. He asked me about the guys I played with like Patrick Willis, NaVorro (Bowman). He picks my brain on everything. Like, he asked me about the linebacker for Dallas last week from Notre Dame, the middle linebacker (Jaylon Smith). He asked me about him, but I told him I couldn’t really get a feel because I didn’t get that many snaps last week. But Tremaine… I think he is going to be great in this league. He’s been balling all year. He’s got a bright future in the NFL.”’

‘“You obviously look around the locker room and see what type of guys… high character guys, some studs in the locker room and you understand you have a pretty good football team,” said Hyde. “I remember having a conversation with some buddies on other teams, former players that I played with in the past whether it’s in Green Bay or even my days in Iowa. And I was telling guys, ‘Hey, don’t sleep on us this year. We’re going to be good. Obviously we have a young quarterback, but he’s a competitor. He’s a stud. Once he gets that confidence from year one to year two’ we’re going to be a pretty good football team.’ And obviously all the guys were like, ‘Yeah, yeah, yeah. Whatever. Whatever. Whatever.’ Maybe I was a little biased, because I appreciate this football team. I know the hard work and stuff that a lot of guys put in, but I really did. I saw the potential in this football team for sure.”’

‘“He’s an amazing talent, but not even that off the field he’s a great human being,” said Allen about Jackson. “I got to spend some time with him, pre-draft and last year after the season a little bit. Just one of those guys that you want to root for and he’s doing some amazing things right now.”’

‘“He’s a big kid, man, he’s like tackling a tight end scrambling,” Ravens defensive coordinator Don Martindale said. “It’s going to be a great challenge. So we’ll see what happens on Sunday. He makes a lot of plays on his feet, that’s been their success the last five, six weeks.”’

Bills’ Spain, Yeldon miss practice with illnesses

‘”It’s the next game. I’ve been around this league long enough. They’re all big games; they’re all important. Obviously once you get to this time of year, the games, I guess, mean a little bit more because you can start to see the playoff picture. It’s not that far out. This is going to be a team that is obviously going to be in the playoffs, and we have to come out and show that we can compete with a team of their caliber. But if we don’t win, it’s not like it breaks our season… We’re going to come out here and compete, and obviously trying to come away with a ‘W’, but understanding that we have a bigger picture here.
