‘Bills offensive coordinator Brian Daboll had the internet out in droves with people’s pitch forks waving after six straight run plays in Pittsburgh territory after White’s second interception. The Bills had to settle for a field goal and the ultra conservative approach could have cost them if they weren’t playing such an inept offense, which turned it over five times. The Bills face another tough defense next week in the Patriots and it will require a more dynamic and aggressive approach.’

‘“We still have work to do but we’re a work in progress,” Beane said. “We’ve by no means arrived. We’re thrilled that we made the playoffs. That’s obviously our first goal is to get into the tournament. But we’ve got two games left. A big division game against a team that we’ve not beat since Sean and I have been here. We would love to do but it’ll be tough to do at their place.”’

‘Some of Brian Daboll’s play calls were very frustrating. The Bills offensive coordinator called back-to-back Frank Gore runs deep in Steelers territory that went for a loss of seven yards. One of the plays looked like it was going to be a Gore throw, but the Steelers weren’t fooled. Facing a 3rd and goal from the 15, Daboll played not to lose by calling a run to Singletary that also went for a loss. The drive ultimately ended in a field goal that tied the game.’

‘Buffalo’s secondary was outstanding against Duck Hodges and the Steelers. Tre’Davious White showed that he belongs to be mentioned alongside Stephon Gilmore as the best cornerbacks in the league with two interceptions. Jordan Poyer added an interception late and Levi Wallace, a cornerback who has struggled this season, sent the Bills to the playoffs with his interception at the end of the game.’
