‘Only seven teams in the NFL entered Week 10 averaging fewer than 19 points per game. The majority of them are in the mix for the first overall pick in the 2020 NFL draft. Bills general manager Brandon Beane spent nearly $60 million in free agent dollars just on offensive players over the offseason. He rebuilt the offensive line and brought in playmakers at every position to try and build around Allen.’

Buffalo Bills come up short versus Cleveland Browns (Week 10 report card)
‘If fans want to be upset at Brian Daboll, look no further than his lack of running plays on Sunday. Devin Singletary, coming off of the best performance of his rookie season, was only given eight carries in the loss. Singletary was effective with 42 yards on the ground (5.3 YPC). Daboll’s failure to incorporate Singletary proved costly on Sunday.’
NFL Week 11 odds: Buffalo Bills open as road favorite against Miami Dolphins
‘In Week 11, Miami will take on the Buffalo Bills. Buffalo is coming off of a 19-16 loss to the Cleveland Browns. Buffalo had their opportunities to win on Sunday, but failed to stop Cleveland when they were clinging on to a four point lead in the fourth quarter. An ensuing drive by Buffalo put the Bills in field goal position, but Stephen Hauschka failed to convert on the 50-plus yard kick which would have sent the game to overtime. The Bills still control their destiny at 6-3, but many Wild Card contenders are suddenly emerging in the AFC.’
Sullivan: Everyone saw this one coming, except the Bills
‘Maybe this defense wasn’t as good as people thought. They beat up on the mediocre teams, but when a team with talent and playmakers shows up — like the Eagles and Browns, and to some extent, the Pats — they’re exposed as an average unit.’
Sunday’s letdown is why people doubted the Bills
‘First and foremost, the Bills are paying top 10 kicker money to a below average kicker.’
Buffalo Bills Week 10 Report Card: Josh Allen leads late TD drive, but Bills fall to Browns 19-16
‘Allen needs to be better. It didn’t help that the Bills’ time management wasn’t great at the end of the game, but he needs to play a complete game. He hasn’t done that this year and while the Bills have been able to beat bad teams, they’ve lucked out in some of those contests. The defense isn’t going to bail them out of every game. The offense and Josh Allen need to play a full 60 minutes.’
Former Browns safety Jordan Poyer sees changes; almost doesn’t count for Buffalo Bills Jerry Hughes
‘“The loss was frustrating for us but I give credit to those guys,” Poyer said. “They have some really good athletes. They’re trying to find ways to win, just like us, and we have to learn from today.”’

Season Saver: Mayfield, Browns Stop Slide, Beat Bills 19-16
‘Cleveland survived more problems in the red zone, but sealed the much-needed win when Buffalo kicker Stephen Hauschka’s 53-yard field-goal attempt was short with 22 seconds left. Earlier, Hauschka missed a 34-yarder.’
Bills Stand Up On Defense, Offense Falters In Loss To Browns
‘With a long line of doubters questioning their best start since 1993 because of a soft schedule, the Bills (6-3) did nothing to dispel the idea that they’re not playoff material.’
Bills stop themselves on final drive, lose 19-16 to the Browns
‘The third quarter has not been kind for the Bills this season, and this game was no different for the offense as it, once again, failed to score in the third quarter.’
The Bills played for the tie and lost
‘The coach is 1-of-12 in two-and-a-half years throwing the challenge flag, the offense has been consistently bad regardless of the quarterback or scheme, and the quarterback can’t hit a throw further than 20 yards down field.’
Bills offense, again, not good enough
‘The Bills have decided to lean on their passing game and it is spotty, at best. They passed 41 times in this game, and the top-two running backs combined for just 14 carries in a game against the 30th-ranked run defense. Even though it’s clear the Bills are more pass based, the lack of carries for Devin Singletary is puzzling. He was productive in a limited role with 42 yards on eight carries. That’s eight carries out of 62 offensive plays.’
This one is on Sean McDermott
‘On third down, how do you not continue to run your offense and try for the win? Stephen Hauschka had already missed a 34-yard field goal at that end of the first half, and hasn’t made one over 50 yards since last season.’
The Bills look just like a certain 2011 playoff team
‘As there was with the 2011 Broncos, there is a cap on how far this blue print can take a team.’
