Bills rookie Ed Oliver enjoys breakout performance in victory over Cowboys
‘“Look, I know what he been through,” said defensive end Shaq Lawson, the Bills’ first-round pick in 2016. “I personally told him, like, ‘Bro, you’ve been through the same situation I’ve been through. My third year going here, when they (signed) Trent (Murphy).’ I said, ‘Man, don’t worry about that, bro. You’ve got to let that (stuff) go. At the end of the day, you’re still a first-round pick. When you time comes, just go in there and make plays.’ He’s been doing that. Since he ain’t started, he’s been taking it and running with it, making hella plays, big-time plays.”’

‘”It feels great, man,” Beasley said in a joyous postgame locker room. “I’m just glad I’m in a place that coaches believe in me, teammates believe in me and they give me opportunities to do what I do. I was telling everybody before the game, ‘I’m just glad I’m on this side.’ It’s been a great experience. Everybody else played their butts off, man, and got win No. 9. That’s most important. So just glad to take another step forward.”‘
John Brown’s reverse option was perfect call at perfect time
‘They play a ton of single-safety-high coverage schemes. And they were blitzing a lot Thursday against the Buffalo Bills in AT&T Stadium. It made them susceptible to a perfectly timed trick play.’
Josh Allen joins exclusive company with rushing TD
‘Allen’s 15-yard TD run was the longest by a QB in a Thanksgiving Day game since Jim Kelly ran for a 15-yard score in a Bills 35-21 loss at Detroit in 1994. Kelly only had seven rushing TDs in his career.’

‘“We’re not worried about that,” Beasley said after he put forth his best game since leaving the Cowboys to join the Bills this season, six catches for 110 yards and a touchdown. “They (the world) don’t need to know. We can lurk from the depths as much as we want. People can sleep on us all they want, and we prefer it that way.”’
Whipping the Cowboys was as complete a victory as the Bills have had all season

Bills crush Cowboys on Thanksgiving; Josh Allen, Ed Oliver make statements: 5 instant observations
‘The Bills had three sacks and six quarterback hits on Prescott and their defensive line turned up the pressure as the game progressed. Oliver was a big key in it but Lotulelei and defensive end Shaq Lawson also were winning in the trenches. McDermott tried to motivate the line a few weeks back to try and get them to generate more consistent pressure and it’s worked. The Bills have had seven, four and now three sacks in their last three games. Lawson has been arguably the Bills best defensive lineman in November. He added another half sack and now has the most on the team for any defensive end.’

‘At times, the Bills offensive line looked overmatched on the field. It led to Josh Allen taking four sacks and six quarterback hits. The unit also struggled to open running lanes consistently, but they also had their fair share of outstanding plays where they gave Josh Allen plenty of time to throw the ball. It was an up and down performance, but the unit was good enough on Thursday.’
