‘Of course the Bills wins haven’t exactly come against the heavyweights of the NFL this year. In fact, the Bills have played the easiest schedule in the league through the first half of the season, with their opponents having only a .328 win percentage. But, as I’ve stated many times, that’s not the Bills problem and doesn’t matter. They didn’t pick their schedule. They’ve played the one that was handed to them. And they’ve beaten the teams they’re supposed to beat, according to those records. That’s the sign of a well-coached team.’

When Singletary is rolling the Bills offense is at its best

Singletary has breakthrough performance Vs. Washington

4 Observations: Bills Improve to 6-2
‘Uninspiring offensive performance. Those fans who were hoping to see an offensive explosion… keep waiting. Josh Allen finished with just 160 yards passing and the Bills only had 268 total yards. The Redskins came into the game allowing 378 yards per game, 26th in the NFL. The offense wasn’t required to do much in order to beat Washington and they didn’t.’

Bills hold on to early lead, defeat Redskins
‘Ball security became an issue in the fourth quarter, as Allen fumbled for the ninth time this season in eight games. Quinton Spain was able to recover it, but the Washington defense answered with a stop on fourth down deep in Washington territory.’
Bills tired of apologizing for wins
‘“I’m done apologizing for ugly wins,” Hyde said. “It’s a win. We’re 6-2. This time last year, we were 2-6.”’
Bills can keep believing another week (or is it pretending?)
‘It’s possible these eight games are the Bills holding on and squeezing out wins until they fully figure things out. It’s hard to give “credit” for victories over NFL dumpster fires individually, but not blowing any of these wins collectively is absolutely an accomplishment.’
