‘Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota is the only QB in the league who has started four games and yet to give the ball away. In fact, he currently has the league’s longest active streak of passes without a pick (169) and the last time he threw an interception was December 6 of last year, in Jacksonville. The Bills are tied for 2nd in the NFL with five interceptions. They are 6th in the league intercepting the ball at a 3.11% rate per pass attempt. Somethings gotta give.’

Allen clears concussion protocol, expected to start on Sunday
‘Along with Allen, the Bills announced fullback Pat DiMarco and safety Dean Marlowe also cleared concussion protocol and should be ready to play.’
Allen clears concussion protocol, expected to play Vs. Titans
‘Allen was limited in practices on Wednesday and Thursday but was a full participant in Friday’s session in Orchard Park.’
4-Sight: Bills at Titans Preview
‘Win the turnover battle. This seems like it should go without saying but the Titans have an excellent turnover ratio and the Bills…. not so much. It starts with both quarterbacks. Josh Allen has thrown 6 interceptions and just 3 touchdowns in 4 games this year. He keeps saying that he’s “learned from his mistakes” but we haven’t seen it just yet. On the flip side, Marcus Mariota has not thrown an interception this season and has tossed 7 TD’s. The Titans are near the top of the league with a +5 turnover ratio and the Bills are near the bottom of the rankings at -2.’
Thad’s Three Things: Bills at Titans
‘This isn’t Philip Rivers or Drew Brees or Matt Ryan with nearly a decade of experience to substitute for days missed in practice. Allen will (assumably) only make his 16th career start in Nashville. There’s an argument to be made a fully prepared Barkley is a better play than Allen with only one practice. We’ll find out.’
Josh Allen, Pat DiMarco and Dean Marlowe clear concussion protocol
‘Allen and Marlowe participated in practice on a limited basis on Wednesday and Thursday. DiMarco returned to practice on Thursday and was also limited. All three fully participated in Friday’s practice. As of Friday afternoon all three remained in concussion protocol, but all three gained medical clearance from the Bills team physician and the Independent Neurological Consultant heading into Sunday’s game.’
Bills elevate WR Duke Williams to active roster
‘Williams, who was signed this past offseason as a free agent, was coming off a career season in the CFL where he led the league in receiving yards with 1,579 in 18 games with Edmonton. He also had 88 receptions and 11 touchdowns.’
Game predictions | Bills at Titans in Week 5
‘Buffalo Bills 20, Tennessee Titans 17.’
Bills Today: Sean McDermott earns praise from these national analysts at the quarter mark
‘The Bills starting 3-1 has led to people taking notice of the job that head coach Sean McDermott has done in his third year in Buffalo. So much that, McDermott’s name is getting consideration for coach of the year a quarter of the way through the season.’
Bills’ Dawson Knox keeps opening eyes with attention-grabbing plays
‘“I think now that I’ve been able to make a play or two I feel pretty comfortable with where I’m at,” Knox said. “The timing between me and Josh, we’ve gotten on the same page. Me and Matt even at the end of the last game were able to connect a few times. I just run every route as if the ball’s coming to me. When it does, I try to make the best of the opportunity and get as many yards as I can.”’
It might not be a ‘must-win,’ but Bills better take care of business vs. Titans
‘To put it another way, a loss could prove more than a little damaging to the Bills’ playoff aspirations. If the Bills are to be taken seriously as a postseason contender, they must take care of business against a club that, at best, figures to be in the middle of the AFC pack.’
Another reason to hate the Patriots? Owner’s helicopter damages ECC field
‘With the ECC Kats preparing for a home game Saturday, the Bills offered to make the repairs to the playing surface. Crews fixed the minimal damage at the field on Tuesday. The damage left by Tom Brady and Kraft’s Pats over the years probably won’t heal so easily.’
Buffalo Bills rookie tight end Dawson Knox becoming an instant cult hero
‘“That was just over the top,” Knox said, laughing as he recalled it. “But I think he does a great job with his energy. It’s fun to watch, it made me laugh. They know I don’t like being called Rambo and all that stuff, but I let them take it and run, so it was fun.”’
Bills’ Josh Allen practiced in full Friday and will play Sunday vs. Titans if he clears concussion protocol
‘Allen was limited in practice on Wednesday and Thursday but was a full participant on Friday. He looked liked his usual self during the periods open to the media. He was leading the first team offense during some early-practice team work on Friday where Bills offensive coordinator Brian Daboll had the offense running through some plays to get ready for Tennessee.’
Buffalo Bills at Tennessee Titans in NFL Week 5: Will Josh Allen or Matt Barkley start at QB? (7 things to watch)
‘If Allen cannot go, Buffalo will look for Matt Barkley to lead them to a road win. Barkley was terrific in his one start last season against the Jets on the road, but Tennessee’s defense is a lot better than the Jets unit he saw one year ago. The veteran quarterback is more than capable of leading Buffalo to a win, but he would likely struggle to evade pressure in the backfield if Tennessee can beat the Bills’ offensive line.’
