‘The All-22 footage is going to be pretty telling on Levi Wallace’s performance on Sunday. Was it a matter of Ryan Fitzpatrick simply putting the ball on his wide receivers or Wallace struggling in coverage? We’ll know soon enough.’

Buffalo Bills vs. Miami Dolphins Week 7 report card: Tre’Davious White, Micah Hyde come up big
‘It became apparent how important Matt Milano is to the Bills defense on Sunday. The Bills linebackers did not look nearly as impressive as they have in previous matchups. Lorenzo Alexander led Buffalo in total tackles (10) while adding one pass defensed and one quarterback hit. Tremaine Edmunds had eight tackles, including a tackle for loss, and one pass defensed in the win. Maurice Alexander, however, really struggled in place of Milano.’
Bills’ Robert Foster, T.J. Yeldon inactive vs. Miami Dolphins – What it means
‘Foster was expected to return to active status after rehabbing a groin injury. Bills quarterback Josh Allen even said during the week that there are “absolutely” going to be opportunities for Foster going forward after Zay Jones was traded. But the way receiver Duke Williams played in his first game action against the Titans has obviously made enough of an impression on the coaching staff to be the team’s primary No. 2 receiver.’
NFL Week 8 odds: Buffalo Bills open as slight favorite over Philadelphia Eagles
‘Philadelphia is set to face-off with the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night Football, but early odds have the Bills as an early favorite in Week 8.’
As ugly as a win can be
‘Sunday represented a lot of what the Bills have been all season. The offense didn’t make things easy, which made the result a lot closer than it should have been. The defense, though it looked worse than in any game this season, made plays when it mattered and helped lead the team to a win. And most of all, just like the rest of the season, the Bills end with an ugly win. That’s becoming the identity of the Buffalo Bills.’
Bills use two second half takeaways to help come back effort in slim win over Dolphins; Buffalo trails at half, wins by 10
‘“We knew in that first half it wasn’t us,” said Allen after the win. “Our fans, they deserve better. They deserve to have us come out and play how they’re supposed to play… When we play to our standard, we trust each other and play complimentary football we usually get good results. We weren’t doing that in the first half.”’
Sullivan: Bills win again, but leave plenty of questions
‘But it was yet another game in which the Bills turned in a slovenly performance against an inferior team and needed to find themselves in the late going to avoid a colossal embarrassment.’
Buffalo Bills Week 7 Report Card: Tre White makes plays, Bills hold off Dolphins 31-21
‘What was Brian Daboll doing for the last two weeks? The Bills’ offensive coordinator did not have a good game plan against this weak Dolphins defense. Miami doesn’t have a good pass rush and the team’s secondary is garbage. But the Bills’ offense looked mediocre, and a lot of the blame should be laid at Daboll’s feet. He got too cute early on and didn’t seem to put Josh Allen and Co. in position to produce on offense.’
Kryk: Disaster jumps up and bevils Dolphins again
‘Considering all the young, discarded NFL players on Miami’s roster, one could argue that Flores and his first-year coaching staff are performing half-miracles just to get these guys close the past two weeks; Miami lost by one point last week at game’s end to Washington, on a failed Dolphins two-point conversion.’

Bills D Delivers In 31-21 Victory Over Winless Dolphins
‘The Bills, who began the day favored by 17 points, avoided what would have been a major upset against a patchwork Dolphins opponent in a major rebuilding mode.’
Bills score 22 points in the 4th quarter to beat Miami, 31-21
‘It didn’t come easily for Buffalo, as the winless Dolphins (0-6) put quite the scare into the Bills and their fans. Josh Allen started off slowly en route to 16-of-26 for just 202 yards and 2 touchdowns, but was turnover free for the game. Frank Gore ran for 55 yards on 11 carries, while John Brown reeled in 5 receptions for 83 yards and a touchdown. Cole Beasley caught his first touchdown for the Bills in the win.’
The Bills’ Tre White comes up huge in win over the Dolphins
‘White is a lockdown corner who has the talent to make big plays. White has pressure on him because the Bills traded down and took him instead of drafting Patrick Mahomes. In the end they wound up basically with White, Allen and Tremaine Edmunds. To me White is totally up the challenge and is on the verge of being an All-Pro.’
Tense, at least for a while
‘The Philadelphia Eagles comes to town next, and while they’ve been inconsistent so far this season, they do represent the second-best opponent the Bills have seen so far this season. At least that’s how I see it.’
Bills get a win we all expected
‘The passing game did not have the big day I was anticipating, and it was surprising given the fact the Dolphins defense has been awful through its first five games. They also went into this matchup down two of its starters in the secondary. Josh Allen and company were able to move the ball in the first half, but unable to finish drives by getting into the end zone. At times, it was Allen missing a target, or not seeing an open receiver.’
