‘The Philadelphia Eagles comes to town next, and while they’ve been inconsistent so far this season, they do represent the second-best opponent the Bills have seen so far this season. At least that’s how I see it.’

Bills get a win we all expected
‘The passing game did not have the big day I was anticipating, and it was surprising given the fact the Dolphins defense has been awful through its first five games. They also went into this matchup down two of its starters in the secondary. Josh Allen and company were able to move the ball in the first half, but unable to finish drives by getting into the end zone. At times, it was Allen missing a target, or not seeing an open receiver.’
Can Josh Allen figure out the deep ball?
‘In two seasons with Buffalo, Allen has struggled to utilize that arm talent while to the surprise of many, taking significant steps in the short and intermediate areas of the passing game.’
Arrow Up/Arrow Down – Dolphins at Bills
‘Just seemed like Bills office of coordinator Brian Daboll got way too cute in the first half. Too many times he called for designed Josh Allen runs, then called a low percentage pass on 3rd and 1 while inside the Dolphins red zone.’
Bills escape with 31-21 win over Miami Dolphins after bye week
‘Whatever happened in the locker room, it worked. A Tre’Davious white interception sparked the Bills on both sides of the Ball. A John Brown touchdown catch gave the Bills the lead. Then, Cole Beasley’s first touchdown of the year extended that lead.’
Tre’Davious White saves the day with game-changing interception to reignite Bills
‘”When teams get into the red zone our philosophy is field goals or takeaways,” White said after the game. “That was huge for our team.”‘
Bills hold off Dolphins for 31-21 win
‘Following White’s interception, Josh Allen led the Bills on a 98-yard scoring drive and capped it off with a 20-yard touchdown to John Brown to give Buffalo it’s first lead of the game at 17-14.’
Second half surge powers Bills to 5-1 start
‘“It was huge. It was the turning point in the game,” wide receiver Cole Beasley said of the 98-yard TD drive. “We weren’t playing our best ball up until that point — kept stalling on offense, stalling on drives — so, it was good to finally get one.”’
4 Observations: Bills beat Dolphins
‘The Bills defense struggled to keep Ryan Fitzpatrick and the Dolphins offense out of the end zone and force field goal attempts. Miami was inside the 20 yard line 4 times and came away with 3 touchdowns. The Bills defense doesn’t have many weaknesses but the redzone is an area they need to clean up. Opponents have been inside the 20 yard line on 14 occasions this season and have come away with 9 touchdowns. The Bills are near the bottom of the league when it comes to defensive redzone touchdown percentage.’
Bills capitalize on 2nd half turnovers, beat Dolphins 31-21 at home
‘Things got hairy in the third quarter for Bills fans. Miami was driving, and looked like they were going to score a crucial touchdown to go up by two possessions, but that all ended when Tre’Davious White picked off Fitzpatrick on the Bills’ one yard line. White’s third interception of the year could not have come at a better time for Buffalo.’
Bills Gameday Recap: Week 7 vs. Dolphins
‘Tight end Tyler Kroft was not targeted in making his long-awaited Bills debut after being sidelined by several injuries since signing with Buffalo in free agency in March. Kroft missed the entire offseason after breaking his right foot in his first practice. He then missed the past three games after hurting his left ankle in practice.’
White, Phillips “turn tide” for Bills D
‘“Tre’davious was lights out today,” Micah Hyde said. “That’s the kind of stuff he can do for this football team. Jordan Phillips has made a lot of plays for us. That’s how our defense is. If it’s not one guy, it’s another.”’
Bills aren’t ready to worry about style points yet
‘As much as it’s fun to see Josh Allen pad his fourth quarter comeback total (guessing he’s one of the few to engineer a such a comeback on the first possession of the second half), this team still has growing to do. And they know it.’
Josh Allen slings ball to the top of the stands
‘“It was just one of those moments where I got up and had a lot of stuff going through me,” Allen explained. “Those fans in the top row were yelling pretty loud, so I just wanted to throw them a souvenir.”’

‘Things looked bleak for the Bills. Miami’s opening drive went for 16 plays, 71 yards and consumed 10 minutes of the clock. Miami even converted a fourth down on a fake field goal attempt. Then, Tre’Davious White became Buffalo’s savior.’
