‘Tennessee quarterback Marcus Mariota ranks eighth in NFL passer rating (106.2) with seven touchdown passes and no interceptions. In fact, he has a live streak of 169 consecutive throws without a pick, dating back six full games to last season.’

Titans’ game could decide Bills’ season
‘A quarter of the way into the season that perception hasn’t changed. That’s particularly true as Buffalo’s three wins against teams with a collective record of 2-9 hasn’t earned it much credibility. However, a victory at Tennessee would deliver much more impact.’
Are Bills’ Josh Allen, Titans’ Marcus Mariota truly ‘franchise’ quarterbacks?
‘“I feel like both of them are like the same,” Spain said. “Both of them like to get out of the pocket and make plays, and that really helps our offensive line. Josh can get away from (defensive) linemen. If you slip off on a block and they chase him, he’s got the athletic ability to get away from it and make plays, and Marcus is the same way.”’

Bills Mailbag: What’s gone wrong on Sean McDermott’s challenges?
‘Every challenge is different, so there isn’t one thing you can point to as the reason for why he has struggled in that area. McDermott won his first challenge as a head coach in 2017 and has lost his last 11. Against the Patriots, I thought McDermott’s first challenge was foolish. The replays we saw in the press box did not appear to show clear evidence that James White came up short of the first down. I understand why McDermott threw the challenge flag for a second time in the second half. The Patriots had gained 31 yards to move deep into Buffalo territory. The issue is, a pick play can happen as long as it’s within 1 yard of the line of scrimmage. Again, there was not clear enough evidence to produce offensive pass interference. Knowing that a second-half timeout in a close game was at risk, it was an ill-advised decision by the head coach.’
Ex-Bills kicker Steve Christie on Music City nightmare, beating cancer and art therapy
‘Christie, who turns 52 next month, and his wife, Kelly, sell real estate in the Bradenton, Fla., area. “Most of our clients are from Buffalo,” Christie said. “We all say the same thing: We love Buffalo, but we hate our weather. People just come down here and, eventually, they come down her permanently. There’s a huge Bills and Sabres following down here.”‘
An enigma wrapped in Zubaz: The Palo Alto Bills fan
‘“I’m a Bills fan by choice, not by birth,” Burnes says, “and I don’t think there’s that many of us out there.”’
Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen cleared to play against Tennessee Titans
‘It is interesting that Allen was listed as a limited participant in practice because that would lend some to believe that he didn’t get the full body of first-team reps as he normally would in a normal week.’
Josh Allen expected to play, but Bills are still in for a tough battle vs. Titans

Buffalo Bills’ Josh Allen clears concussion protocol; will play vs. Titans
‘Having Allen available on Sunday is big for the Bills as the team looks to move to 4-1 heading into their bye week. Allen is coming off of the worst performance of his second season, but he has made significant strides from year one to year two based on his stats at the quarter mark of the 2019 season.’
Bills Mafia reacts to Buffalo Bills signing WR Duke Williams to active roster
‘“I know you guys see him out there (in practice) in individual. (He is a) Big body guy,” Daboll said. “He did well for us in the preseason. And he’s another guy who’s only been here a short amount of time and has learned the playbook. Tough. Smart. Duke’s always ready to go.”’

Bills elevate ex-Eskimos receiver Duke Williams
‘Now it’s just a question whether Williams will be among the maximum 46 players the Bills choose to dress for Sunday’s game at the Tennessee Titans. The Bills now have an uncommon seven wide receivers on the active roster. One of them, Robert Foster, is questionable Sunday with a groin injury.’
