Bills welcome winless Bengals in home opener

And that’s not all the bad news. The Bengals are 32nd (last) in the NFL in percentage of red zone touchdowns (17), 30th in rushing yards surrendered (166 per game) and 29th in points surrendered per game (31).’

‘Promoting a player from the practice squad is the easiest move, since it doesn’t involve negotiating compensation with another team for a player. So that would be the most probable. As for the trade possibilities, I’ll start with Ramsey first: He’s an All-Pro talent, but the Bills have a No. 1 cornerback in Tre’Davious White. They also had the best pass defense in the NFL last year without Ramsey. It’s not worth trading a first-round draft pick (at least) to fix something that’s not broken. As for Landry and Diggs, I’m not seeing why the Browns or Vikings would be in a rush to move either player.’

‘Cincinnati wide receiver John Ross is currently second in the NFL with 270 yards receiving. The league’s leading receiver, D.J. Chark of the Jaguars, already played his week three game. So, Ross is the two-week leader. He’s also tied for the NFL lead with three receiving touchdowns and is second with an outstanding 24.55 yards per catch. With the Bengals struggling to run the football so far this year, they’ve been attacking vertically, and often with Ross, who played a total of eleven games his first two years due to injuries. The Bills secondary prides themselves on not allowing the big play. The incredibly fast Ross will be their toughest challenge yet. How they deal with him, and what he’s able to do or not do, could go a long way in determining the outcome of this game.’
