‘That is the address for any Bills fan wanting to write a thank you note to the Giants for helping Ed Oliver fall to the Bills at No. 9. That’s not a shot at Daniel Jones. He could end up being a good quarterback, but few saw him going in the top-10. The selection allowed Buffalo to stay put and have Oliver fall into their lap.’

ESPN+ ranks NFL rosters | Buffalo Bills among worst in league
‘“The Bills sport a top-10 defense and coach Sean McDermott has shown he can maximize talent on that side of the ball. The problem is an offense that made a ton of offseason signings, but few that really seem to move the needle. The big question will be whether this team can consistently win games with an inaccurate, mobile quarterback in Josh Allen who will need to overcome a shaky supporting cast.”’
Bills’ Allen is trying to evolve as a quarterback
‘Brian Daboll keeps pounding into Allen to take what the defense gives him. Allen said he’s has that in his head each and every day, “Absolutely. We had one play today and Dre [Andre Roberts] had just kind of found a window like four yards in front of me. I dumped it on to him before it got to the will linebacker and that was a touchdown and that’s one of those like, ‘let’s go Dre!’ That’s what we need right there and for him to have a knack to find a little zone and me to find him and put it on and where I did. It’s definitely steps in the right direction.”’
Edmunds continues to learn and ‘get better overall’
‘“He’s more mature beyond his years,” fellow linebacker Lorenzo Alexander said Wednesday on WGR. “He’s 21, so lining up next to him you expect some immaturity. But because of his family’s background, his dad, his mom playing at a high level, competing at a high level, he has his two brothers, the foundation and maturity of a young man is there. He’s just different than some of his peers. He carries himself different, he walks in the room different, and obviously what he looks like talent-wise is just on another level. So when you couple all that together, including him having some experience now, his growth process has just been on a different level than others.”’
Bills sign guard Nico Siragusa
‘After being waived by Green Bay in April, Siragusa spent a few weeks with the Indianapolis Colts after being signed in June, but was cut before the start of training camp. Siragusa has not appeared in an NFL regular season game to this point in his career.’
Capaccio: Separation starting to emerge at WR for Bills
‘Duke Williams isn’t the kind of player I see as practice squad material. He’s already been a pro for a few years and if he cannot make the team outright, it’s probably better to spend resources developing a younger player. Williams did have two touchdowns Thursday and looked good in red zone work. He still has chances to impress and show he deserves consideration for a roster spot, but that will have to come when they face live competition in preseason.’
Cornerback battle heats up as preseason games approach
‘Right now three players seem to be fighting for that other starting spot, two newcomers and a starter from last season. Levi Wallace returns to the Bills defense after a rookie season that saw him go from undrafted to starting the final seven games.’
Bills sign OG Nico Siragusa with open roster spot
‘The Bills have signed free agent Nico Siragusa to add a little more depth to the offensive line. He most recently spent time with Indianapolis but was released before training camp began.’
“Pancho Power” book continues beloved Bills super fan legacy
‘Roselyn Kasmire, a Buffalo-based children’s author, became friends with Castro a few years ago. He was a fan of her work, often buying her books for his two young children. Now she’s penning a story called “Pancho Power” about her late friend.’
4 Observations from Bills Camp (8/1)
‘Another good day for Ray-Ray. The Bills wide receiver continues to get more and more reps and is climbing the depth chart. At points on Thursday McCloud was working with the first team offense.’
4 Notable Quotes: Josh Allen
‘I think it’s kind of the first time some of the new guys will be able to kind of feel that excitement and energy in our stadium. You know, we always talk about defending our dirt, and it starts tomorrow. So, you know, I’m assuming there’s going to be quite a large fan base there. We’re excited to get in there and excited to practice and show you what we’ve been working on.’
5 Questions: Bills RB Devin Singletary
‘“You know, that’s big. All my hard work paid off. I’ve always wanted to see myself on Madden and I’m already there. So, it’s definitely a great feeling.”’
BKL Training Camp Special: Players to Watch
‘“Despite being the 1st round pick, nothing is being handed to Ed Oliver. In fact, Jordan Phillips has worked primarily with the first team next to Star Lotulelei on the interior. Since the pads went on Ed started to jump out more and show why the Bills drafted him. It’s also been interesting to watch Oliver get some 1-on-1 coaching from Kyle Williams — not a bad teacher to learn from.”’
BKL Training Camp Special: Beasley’s journey to the NFL
‘“This is the most fun I’ve had in the league in a long time. When you play for a few years, I don’t have to prove myself. I can play freely. There’s no stress on every play. You just get up and go on to the next one.”‘
Story of Pancho Billa coming to print
‘On Kasmire’s website, it reads “this book is dedicated to the fans of the Buffalo Bills in the essence and strength of the legendary Pancho Billa and superfans that love their sports teams!”’
