‘“I’m the guy. I feel like that. That’s what I’ve been told,” said McCoy. “That’s my every day approach. We’re all a team and trying to help each other out to win games, compete against each other and make each other better. Me and Frank have been competing for years. We train in the offseason and we’re always trying to beat each other. I’m excited for the challenge.”’

Bills Today: Rochester native Jarron Jones returns home for opportunity with the Bills
‘“It’s been a whirlwind,” she said. “It’s a blessing, nothing but the Lord, all I can say. Thank you, thank you, I love the Bills. Everybody is sending congratulations, we’re just happy for him. As long as he’s employed and he’s happy, we’re here to support him. My brother is a big-time Dallas fan, and I have to get him to wear Bills stuff now. The Lord has granted us this opportunity. How long it lasts, we’re here for the ride.”’
Athleticism boosts Corey Thompson’s bid to make Bills’ LB corps
‘“It’s hard to replace some of the guys we have as starters, but we feel really good about our backups,” said Bills defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier. “We feel like Corey Thompson, he gives us something. Last season, Matt went down and Corey stepped in. He really did a good job for us and gave us some versatility as well. He can play either of the outside positions.”’
Injuries so far spoiling Bills’ grand offensive line plans
‘Getting all of those new faces to develop the chemistry and continuity so vital to an O-line’s success was going to be hard enough under ideal circumstances. Now that the group has been ravaged by injuries suffered during training camp at St. John Fisher College, the Bills are struggling simply to put five healthy bodies in front of quarterback Josh Allen, let alone upgrade his protection and the ability to open holes for the running game.’
Bills DE Shaq Lawson realizes it’s ‘big year for me, big year for the team’
‘“I’ve got to prove myself this year and see what happens at the end of the year,” Lawson said. “I know it’s do or die for me this year, for either a big contract or signing a little deal. I know it’s a big year for me, big year for this team. If you win, everybody gets paid, so that’s the great thing about it.”’
Buffalo Bills training camp: Injuries taking a toll up front, Cody Ford moves to guard
‘Coach Sean McDermott said Sunday that Morse remains in the concussion protocol, a situation that grows more worrisome by the day because the Bills simply do not have an adequate option at center if Morse can’t play. Long has missed the last few practices with a sore knee, and Feliciano hurt his shoulder Friday night.’
Josh Allen, offense still struggling as Buffalo Bills get ready to leave Fisher
‘“It’s early in camp and that tends to be the case,” coach Sean McDermott said of the offense looking out of sync, especially when you consider it is facing a talented Buffalo defense that is almost unchanged in terms of personnel from a year ago. “I thought there were small victories within the practice on the offensive side, and I saw some mental toughness. We just have to do our job and get better and understand what our roles are.”’
Bills training camp 2019: McDermott praises Cody Ford, ‘I love that he put the team first’
‘“I’m sure he’s aware of it but he’s a mentally tough guy that competes,” McDermott said. “He’s focused on himself growing each and every day, each and every rep. That’s what he needs to be doing right now. He’ll continue to grow and evolve and his leadership influence will continue to grow and evolve. And that’s good for us.”’
Buffalo Bills training camp 2019: LaAdrian Waddle likely out for season with torn quad (report)
‘Waddle, 28, joined the Bills in free agency on a one-year, $2 million contract. He joined the team following a three-plus year stint with the New England Patriots in which he appeared in 31 games (seven starts). Before joining the Patriots, Waddle spent two-plus seasons with the Detroit Lions where he played under new Bills offensive line coach Bobby Johnson.’
Buffalo Bills training camp 2019: OL Sam Young working out for team (report)
‘Young, 32, was a sixth-round pick of the Dallas Cowboys in the 2010 NFL Draft. After being waived by the team in his second season, Buffalo claimed Young off of waivers. He would spend two-plus seasons with the Bills before being waived by the team early in the 2013 season. Young was then claimed off waivers by the Jacksonville Jaguars and remained with the team through the 2015 season. The offensive lineman is most recently coming off of a three-year stint with the Miami Dolphins.’
Bills training camp 2019: O-line coach Bobby Johnson’s impact on run game (Day 10 observations)
‘Johnson appreciated Bills running back LeSean McCoy on Monday after a nice run up the middle that ended in the end zone during red zone work. Johnson exploded from his position behind the play and ran over to McCoy to congratulate him after the 31-year-old burst through the line and took it to the house.’
Buffalo Bills training camp day 10 wrap-up: News, injuries, lineup notes, quotes, more
‘Waddle was in line to be the Bills’ swing tackle in 2019. This was the same role he had with the New England Patriots.’
Buffalo Bills release unofficial depth chart | 5 thoughts on Cody Ford, Robert Foster & more
‘McDermott said Monday that Ford’s move inside to guard was based on necessity with all the injuries on the offensive line and a desire to get a look at the rookie at the position he played his junior season at Oklahoma. This depth chart may not reflect the past few days of practice but it’s notable that the Bills view Ford as their top right tackle after two weeks of camp over free agent addition Ty Nsekhe.’
Buffalo Bills a top 5 challenger to New England Patriots in AFC, says NFL columnist
‘”My Cinderella team this year.”‘
What to look for as the Bills open preseason vs. Colts on Thursday
‘It wasn’t only the offense of the Buffalo Bills that underwent changes this offseason. The defense has a few new faces too, with the most notable addition as first round rookie Ed Oliver. The ninth overall pick in this year’s draft, Oliver will replace longtime stater Kyle Williams on the defensive line. Oliver has star potential and has Bills fans excited in a way that interior linemen usually don’t achieve, especially this early in a career. It will be interesting to see how he deals with the pressure of being a top 10 pick at a position that doesn’t dominate the stat sheet.’
