‘“It’ll be like the yappy dog,” Rivera joked of Munnerlyn, a 10-year veteran who the Panthers cut in February. “Somebody rings the doorbell, and the dog starts barking.”’

New Bills CB Captain Munnerlyn eager to face Panthers
‘“I know there’s going to be a lot of trash-talking, and I’ll probably be doing a lot of it,” he said.’
Bills Sign Defensive End Acho And Release Guard Duccasse
‘Duccasse is a nine-year veteran who had one season left on the three-year contract he signed with Buffalo in 2017. He started 21 games in two seasons with the Bills, before becoming the odd-man out in what’s become an offseasonlong overhaul of what had been a patchwork offensive line.’
Bills gearing up for joint practices with the Panthers
‘”It’ll be nice and a great opportunity to see some old friends, and a place that helped me in so many ways with great people and a great organization,” McDermott said during his press conference before practice on Sunday. “Wofford is a neat campus, very similar to St. John Fisher [College] in terms of the pride that they take and what they do down there. With that said, we have work to do, and that’s why we’re going down there. I’m excited to watch our team grow through this experience.”‘
Bills sign Sam Acho; release Vlad Ducasse
‘As for Ducasse, the Bills released him just before his third season with the organization. In two seasons with Buffalo, Ducasse played in a total of 22 games, starting at guard in 19 of those contests.’
Munnerlyn excited to join Bills, have joint practices with Panthers
‘“I think the defense just fit my style,” he said. “Especially at the nickel position and the toughness I bring. Coach McDermott, he likes blitzing. He’s not going to sit back, he’s going to get after you. I’m a great blitzer and I like to compete. I’m a competitor and I’m going to go out there and make plays.”’
Bills sign defensive end Sam Acho; guard Vlad Ducasse released
‘He played the last four seasons for the Chicago Bears appearing in 51 games with 25 starts. Acho is coming off a torn pectoral muscle injury suffered last October that landed him on injured reserve with the Bears as he missed the last 11 games of the season. Off the field, Acho was named the Bears’ Walter Payton Man of the Year nominee in 2016 and 2017.’
Quick Hits: Sean McDermott asks Captain Munnerlyn to focus on this task
‘“That’s where he’s played more over the course of the last four or five years,” said McDermott of Munnerlyn’s play at nickel. “We just want to get him acclimated to what we do and his new surroundings and teammates and take it one day at a time.”’
Top 3 things to know from Day 13 at Bills training camp
‘Spencer Long rotated in at left guard for Quinton Spain, who has had a virtual stranglehold on the starting left guard spot. After a few more snaps Long then moved to his right to line up at center. Jon Feliciano kicked out to right guard and Cody Ford moved to right tackle, with Nsekhe stepping out.’
Bills Today: Former Panthers are back in familiar territory at Wofford College
‘“It will be nice and a great opportunity to see some old friends,” McDermott said. “It was a place that helped me in so many ways with great people and a great organization. Wofford is a neat campus, very similar to St. John Fisher in terms of the pride that they take in what they do down there. That said, we have work to do and that’s why we are going down there. Updated 53-man roster projection after Bills’ latest moves
‘Jackson showed off the big arm he’s known for, but completed just 2 of 10 throws. He remains a practice-squad candidate.’
Bills Mailbag: What to make of Devin Singletary’s promising start
‘I do believe that the Bills will keep Singletary as the third running back, at least for now. The pecking order throughout training camp has been LeSean McCoy, Frank Gore, Singletary, Yeldon, Senorise Perry, Marcus Murphy and Wade. I don’t see that changing real soon. Singletary flashed some of his potential against the Colts, but it’s premature in my mind to suggest he’s the best running back on the roster. The Bills have come this far with McCoy, it makes sense to see what he can do behind a rebuilt offensive line.’
When the opportunity arose to join the Bills, Kurt Coleman jumped at it
‘“Some organizations, some head coaches, you just don’t know and you don’t like the situation, but I knew what I was going to get here with him and I was excited when him and I were talking, Brandon Beane and I were talking, I knew this was going to be a great opportunity for me and my family,” said Coleman, who played for McDermott as a rookie in 2010 in Philadelphia, and then again in 2015 and 2016 in Carolina.’

‘The Bills also signed defensive tackle Roderick Young to bring their roster back up to 91 players.’
