‘With 91 players on the roster, it’s noteworthy when the coach singles one out without specifically being asked about him. That speaks to the impression McCloud is making on not just the coaching staff, but his teammates as well.’

With Bills night practice looming, McDermott dials down intensity
‘After a two-hour practice Wednesday that was the longest of training camp, Thursday’s wrapped up in one hour, 45 minutes.’
Bills special teams coordinator Heath Farwell on why he loves Andre Roberts, punting and more
‘They are both doing a really good job. We have two young, talented punters. We are growing every day, getting better 6 practices in but we have a long way to go. We are all trying to grow, I’m trying to grow as a coordinator and help them along and bring them along as young players. It’s a good battle and good competition and that’s really what we want across the board with all of our special teams, some good competition and at the end we will figure it out who’s the best player and who’s going to help us win.’
Movie aims to tell ‘incredible life story’ of former Bills QB Jim Kelly and wife Jill
‘The Kellys and Hall president David Baker describe the movie as “faith-based,” depicting how the family’s strong Christian beliefs allowed it to overcome challenges.’
Buffalo Bills training camp: Ray-Ray McCloud has been impressive so far
‘“It seems like a different guy makes a play from kind of that group of guys you are referring to and I think Ray-Ray McCloud has had a real nice training camp to this point,” said coach Sean McDermott. “Just with effort and doing the things we expect our wide receivers to do. At the end of the day, you have to get open and you have to get separation and catch the football.”’
Roth: Bills have mettle to be a more ‘nasty’ defense, but it will also take the mind
‘“We have to be better defensively,’’ McDermott said during spring drills, sending a message to his players before their arrival for training camp at St. John Fisher College. “It’s a mindset and I’m looking for a more physical, nasty defense than we were a year ago.’’’
Bills’ Josh Allen explains what has him celebrating early in training camp
‘“Absolutely (I’m celebrating the easy ones),” Allen said after Thursday’s practice at St. John Fisher College. “We had one play today and Dre (Andre Roberts) had just kind of found a window like four yards in front of me. I dumped it on to him before it got to the will linebacker and that was a touchdown. That’s one of those like, ‘Let’s go Dre!, That’s what we need right there. And for him to kind of have a knack to find a little zone and me to find him and put it on and where I did. It’s definitely steps in the right direction.”’
Buffalo Bills training camp 2019: Team signs OL Nico Siragusa (6 things to know)
‘Siragusa’s rookie year ended before it ever truly began. Two years ago to the day, Siragusa tore his ACL, MCL and PCL at Ravens training camp. He would spend his rookie year on the injured reserve.’
Buffalo Bills training camp 2019: Did positional coach throw shade at New York Jets?
‘“I think at this level everybody has a chip,” said Farwell. “He’s one of them. He’s been on six different teams and I’ve had that conversation with him but you want that, I love that. I love that he wants to prove people wrong. The underdog part of it, I can’t believe a team got rid of him and we love him for it. I love that part about him and we have a bunch of guys in that same scenario where the underdog, they got rid of them for some reason but we love you here, we’ll embrace you for it and we’ll love you for it so I love that part about him.”’
Bills training camp 2019: Where do Duke Williams & David Sills stand in WR battle? (Day 7 observations)
‘“We had one play today, it was near the goal line. Dre (receiver Andre Roberts) had just kind of found a window like four yards in front of me and I dumped it onto him before he got to the Will linebacker and it was a touchdown,” Allen said. “That’s what we need right there and for him to have that knack to find that zone and to be able to find him and hit him where I did is definitely steps in the right direction.”’
Buffalo Bills training camp day 7 wrap-up: News, injuries, lineup notes, latest on opponents, more
‘That is the address for any Bills fan wanting to write a thank you note to the Giants for helping Ed Oliver fall to the Bills at No. 9. That’s not a shot at Daniel Jones. He could end up being a good quarterback, but few saw him going in the top-10. The selection allowed Buffalo to stay put and have Oliver fall into their lap.’
ESPN+ ranks NFL rosters | Buffalo Bills among worst in league
‘“The Bills sport a top-10 defense and coach Sean McDermott has shown he can maximize talent on that side of the ball. The problem is an offense that made a ton of offseason signings, but few that really seem to move the needle. The big question will be whether this team can consistently win games with an inaccurate, mobile quarterback in Josh Allen who will need to overcome a shaky supporting cast.”’
Bills’ Allen is trying to evolve as a quarterback
‘Brian Daboll keeps pounding into Allen to take what the defense gives him. Allen said he’s has that in his head each and every day, “Absolutely. We had one play today and Dre [Andre Roberts] had just kind of found a window like four yards in front of me. I dumped it on to him before it got to the will linebacker and that was a touchdown and that’s one of those like, ‘let’s go Dre!’ That’s what we need right there and for him to have a knack to find a little zone and me to find him and put it on and where I did. It’s definitely steps in the right direction.”’
Edmunds continues to learn and ‘get better overall’
‘“He’s more mature beyond his years,” fellow linebacker Lorenzo Alexander said Wednesday on WGR. “He’s 21, so lining up next to him you expect some immaturity. But because of his family’s background, his dad, his mom playing at a high level, competing at a high level, he has his two brothers, the foundation and maturity of a young man is there. He’s just different than some of his peers. He carries himself different, he walks in the room different, and obviously what he looks like talent-wise is just on another level. So when you couple all that together, including him having some experience now, his growth process has just been on a different level than others.”’
Bills sign guard Nico Siragusa
‘After being waived by Green Bay in April, Siragusa spent a few weeks with the Indianapolis Colts after being signed in June, but was cut before the start of training camp. Siragusa has not appeared in an NFL regular season game to this point in his career.’
