‘Like most Bills fans, I am quite pleased with our haul. Beane has a plan that includes the short, mid, and long term, and he filled many sinkholes in FA and the draft.’

Ed Oliver will make instant-impact with Buffalo Bills, says Mel Kiper Jr.
‘My pal Louis Riddick said on TV several times over the past few months that Oliver was used incorrectly in college. Why is an athlete like Oliver — he has one of the fastest first steps off the ball of any defensive tackle I’ve ever scouted — playing nose tackle? Buffalo will play him as a 3-technique tackle in its 4-3 defense, in place of the retired Kyle Williams, and he’s going to be a disruptive presence. No, he’s not Aaron Donald like some were calling him last summer — he is still developing consistent pass-rush moves — but Oliver will destroy double-teams and cause wreckage in the backfield.’
Former Bills G Richie Incognito may be making NFL comeback (report)
‘“Incognito didn’t play last season after he retired, un-retired and then was cut by the Bills,” Garafolo tweeted. “But word is he’s in shape and feeling well in all aspects. Wants to play again.”’
Bills rookie minicamp is right around the corner
‘Come Friday, Buffalo’s three-day rookie minicamp kicks off and will continue on through Sunday, May 12th. The 2019 Draft class, headlined by first-round draft pick Ed Oliver, second-round selection Cody Ford, as well as third-rounders Devin Singletary and Dawson Knox will be taking the field for the first time as members of the Bills. Buffalo’s undrafted free agent pick-ups and tryout players will also practice alongside the draftees come the end of the week. Those tryout players will have a chance to earn a contract and even a training camp invite to continue with the team deeper into the offseason program.’
How heartbreak motivated Devin Singletary to become an electrifying running back
‘“I’m going to be all ears, just soaking up the game that they give me,” Singletary told Buffalobills.com. “I’m ready to learn from them because they know the game very well. So I’m ready to put in some work with those guys. I’m pretty sure they’ll love to work out with me as well and teach me some things.”’
How Bills players are inspiring change throughout Western New York
‘Selected by the player community leadership committee, the Bills provided donations and ceremonial game balls to Bornhava, the Belle Center, Lt. Col. Matt Urban Services of Western New York, Boys and Girls Clubs of Buffalo, Buffalo-Area Engineering Awareness for Minorites (BEAM) and Gloria J. Parks Community Center.’
Bills Today: CBS Sports predicts Bills will land this free agent
‘The Bills aren’t exactly desperate for a pass rusher, but there’s a reason they’ve been sniffing around Ezekiel Ansah for almost two months. No. 1, adding a former All-Pro to a line that now includes first-rounder Ed Oliver could really ramp up their trench game. No. 2, they’re flush with the cap space to make it happen. Ansah may want a one-year deal to get back on the market for one last shot at a big contract, but regardless, he seems like a guy who’d fit in Buffalo. It’s not like he’d be playing with slouches, either.’
Jake Fisher excited about rare career reboot as tight end with Bills
‘“I think it comes down to being happy every day, what you’re passionate about,” Fisher said in a recent interview at One Bills Drive. “If you’re not doing that, change it up. For me, I’m passionate about tight end. I’m passionate about blocking, contributing any way I can for the team. … It’s about setting your mind on something and betting on yourself.”’
Buffalo Bills QB Tyree Jackson’s long draft wait chronicled in ESPN+’s NFL Draft Academy
‘“Did I kill somebody or something?” Jackson asks his agents Brandon Parker and Brian McLaughlin.’
Bills Today: Harrison Phillips and teammates provide a dream experience for Buffalo kids
‘We met some tremendous special needs parents who had a blast with us playing football with the kids. The Bills staff were tremendous to us, The Bills players were amazing giving a Saturday for what we’re up to.’
Bills’ Duke Williams: ‘I know I can play football, but can I stay out of trouble?’
‘“He’s a physical, nasty guy. That’s him,” Lashlee said. “If I didn’t know him, I’d have just been like everybody else, ‘Man, that’s crazy.’ But knowing Duke, that’s who he is. He’s a physical dude. And if he can harness that mentality on the field where it’s legal and right, then that’s what you want.”‘
Vic Carucci’s Bills Mailbag: Receiving corps unlikely to change, but what about Allen’s accuracy?
‘Although I wouldn’t rule out the addition of a veteran receiver for the X spot, it’s highly doubtful that anyone of significance is going to become available. The flirtation with Antonio Brown was a sign that General Manager Brandon Beane recognized the void for dynamic talent in the receiving corps and that he didn’t see one that carried more draft value than the players they selected at defensive tackle (Ed Oliver) and offensive tackle (Cody Ford). Beyond that, I don’t see a similar pursuit happening again this year.’
Jim Kubiak: Here is Josh Allen’s to-do list heading into second season
‘Interestingly, Allen also had the second-highest drop rate among quarterbacks last year at 6.3 percent, according to Pro Football Focus. Blake Bortles was first with 7.7 percent. But Allen only put the ball in the perfect spot 8.6 percent of the time, per PFF. That is 6.5 percentage points less than the league average.’
2019 Buffalo Bills jersey numbers: What we know about rookies, free agent signings, more
‘Before the draft, Oliver told Chris Simms that he hoped to wear the number 91 in the NFL. His line of thinking was that nine plus one equaled 10, his college number. It may hold even more significance now as he was the ninth overall pick in the first round. Kyle Peko currently has the number.’
Bills: Harrison phillips playmakers take the field
‘“The city of Buffalo is doing a heck of a job raising our youth knowing that they’re out here on their off days paying it forward. Just appreciation is what I’ll leave with,” Phillips said. “Probably getting to see all the kids smiles, knowing that this is probably something none of these kids would ever dream of doing, being a football player for a day.”’
