‘Cohen said Trump exaggerated his personal wealth when it benefited him over the years and submitted portions of financial documents, or “statements of financial condition,” from the years 2011, 2012 and 2013 as evidence. Cohen testified that Trump misled banks and insurers about his cash holdings, outstanding debts, and the value of his real estate assets to obtain a loan to buy the Buffalo Bills.’

Buffalo Bills excited to add Duke Williams’ ‘edge’
‘“A sleepy period, I mean by that, kind of the season ended and there’s not a lot going on,” Bills coach Sean McDermott said during his press conference at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis on Wednesday. “But we found a player we feel like may be able to help us or at least add to the competition. He’s a player that’s played at a big-time university at Auburn and has made some big-time strides in his career over the last few years, and we’re excited to add him to the mix.”’
Beane says offseason is different this year knowing Bills have a quarterback they believe in
‘Beane said he “sleeps a little bit better” this year as compared to last year at this time, knowing they have a quarterback who they believe in and don’t have to try to find one and figure out how to get him. He even said how much different and better it will be when the team gets to camps this offseason not having to have a three-way quarterback battle and knowing Josh Allen will be the starter right off the bat and that will help set the tone for the offense. “He missed out on some reps that we would have liked to have gotten him had we known he would have ended up being the No. 1 as quick as he was, but it played out like it is and obviously that will help us this year.”’
Capaccio: Why Kyler Murray’s height is good news for the Bills
‘Why is this important for the Buffalo Bills, considering they aren’t even in the market to take a quarterback this year? Because other teams are, and the Bills would love for as many quarterbacks as possible to be selected before they get to their No. 9 pick, allowing more talent at other positions to fall so they can either pick an elite prospect or increase the value of trading the pick.’
Joe B: 5 takeaways from Buffalo Bills GM Brandon Beane at the NFL Combine
‘Now with almost two months since the first time he used the term — and also just two weeks away from the official start to free agency — what does a “judicious” approach to free agency mean? For Beane, it’s simple — and it doesn’t mean they have to sit on the sidelines during the first day of free agency. Quite the contrary, it’s more about the Bills identifying the players that best fit into their individual systems — even if they’ll wind up costing a premium as one of the top-tier free agents available.’
Beane: “We’re just looking for good football players, good receivers”
‘”Some of these programs now are just signaling to the receivers or to an individual receiver and that’s one of the things we try to do in the formals. We watch a little tape and find out what they know. Do they not know it because they can’t learn it, or because they weren’t taught it?’
Quick Hits: Lines of communication open on DT Jordan Phillips
‘“Definitely. We had a good conversation with Jordan at the end of the year. We’ve talked to his representatives a couple of times. They’re here,” said Beane. “We have not met with them yet, but we’d definitely be interested in bringing Jordan back. We liked the energy he brought to our team in midseason when we acquired him.”’
An inside look: How the Bills determine which players fit
‘“Sometimes this is the last step we needed to eliminate a guy,” said Beane of the interviews. “We’ve heard some things about him. There are some things we like on film and we know the guy can make plays, but we’ve heard enough about him where it’s the learning ability, the personality that we might need to confirm.”‘
Bills Today: How does Kyler Murray compare to Josh Allen?
‘“In terms of grades, now this is the grade I had on them coming out, not what they’ve done. I have Darnold with the highest grade,” Jeremiah said. “Then it was Rosen, then it was Mayfield, and then I gave the same grade to Josh Allen as my fourth quarterback last year as I gave to Kyler Murray this year. So they would be tied for my fourth, and then I would have Haskins would be behind them and then Lamar Jackson would be behind him. So that would be the order I have stacking those guys in with last year’s class based purely off the grade.”’
