‘”The kid, you can just tell the way, vocally when he gets in the huddle. He’s got a great vision when he speaks about the plays and just even talks to us on the sidelines,” Jones said. “The way he competes, runs the ball and throws the ball — I can’t say enough about him. His leadership skills are just phenomenal.”‘

Lorenzo Alexander: Strong play from receivers may change Bills offseason plans
‘”I like (the growth we’ve seen), and you really want them to finish the season out strong and get better because then (the front office) will say, ‘This is what we expect. This is what we have,'” Alexander said. “Then you build on that for next year. Going into the offseason (you) really have it stapled in your mind as a GM, and maybe your mindset changes as far as what you look for in the draft because of a Robert Foster stepping up and the growth of Zay Jones from year one to year two.”‘
Micah Hyde glad to see Bills offense playing well after ‘frustrating’ start
‘”I guess you can say we were trying to deflect all the questions about, ‘Is the defense carrying the team’ and ‘how come the offense isn’t doing anything?'” he said.’

Buffalo Bills Week 15 Report Card: Josh Allen leads Bills to 14-13 win over Lions
‘Josh Allen won this one for the Bills. He ran for a 3-yard touchdown, threw a 42-yard touchdown pass to Robert Foster and executed a perfect quarterback sneak to seal the victory. His completion percentage was what you expect from him (50 percent) and he had 204 passing yards. The stat sheet doesn’t tell the whole story. He made plenty of plays with his arm and legs. After three games of 99 rushing yards or more, it was good to see him stick to throwing the ball and only running when he had no choice. The Bills found a gem with Allen. His big arm and playmaking ability provide a huge boost.’
Detroit Lions lamely bow out of playoff picture with loss to Bills
‘For myriad unsatisfactory reasons beyond injury attrition, in the second half on Sunday the only Bills players capable enough to catch passes from raw-as-May-grass rookie QB Josh Allen were an undrafted rookie wideout (Robert Foster), a 2017 undrafted tight end (Jason Croom) and a 2017 second-round pick (Zay Jones) who can’t get open in man coverage and doesn’t fight enough for the ball.’
