‘“We always talk about some form of Kaizen,” McDermott said. “We (use PowerPoint to) put up a chart, basically, that (shows) there’s some teams that are going to do this (moving his hand up and down like a wave), some individuals are going to do this, and they’re going to ride the wave. And then other teams are going to do a little bit more tick-tacking back and forth, but with more of a gradual type of improvement. So we want them to see the visual behind it.”’

‘Does Josh Allen do more damage with his arm or legs? Allen has already set a franchise rookie record with four rushing touchdowns. He surpassed 100 rushing yards last week against Jacksonville before a couple kneeldowns left him at 99. Coach Sean McDermott mentioned this week that the Bills need to find the right balance of just how much to run Allen. He’s too important to the franchise to continually be put in compromising situations.’

‘Dolphins linebacker Kiko Alonso has speed but he won’t be confused with Carolina All-Pro Luke Kuechly when it comes to play recognition and sure tackling.’

‘The success rate on onside kicks this season has been abysmal — with kicking teams recovering just three times on 37 attempts (8 percent). Compare that to last year’s success rate, which was 23 percent, and the last decade’s average of about 15 percent, and it’s clear the onside kick is on the verge of extinction.’
