‘Meanwhile QB Josh Allen participated in practice for the first time on Friday since his elbow injury back in Week 6 at Houston. He was limited in practice. No word on whether he threw or not, but head coach Sean McDermott said Thursday that the rookie QB was “not far off” from throwing again. But he is out for Sunday’s game.’

‘Peterman has been around Brian Daboll and the offense longer than any other quarterback on the roster (since OTAs in April). The Bills need him to play a complete game this week.’

‘Chicago is 4-0 in games in which its defense has held opponents to 17 or fewer points this season. When their opposition surpasses that total, however, disaster strikes. The Bears are 0-3 in contests in which they’ve allowed more than 17 points.’
