‘Allen is, at times, taking his eyes off of the defense while under pressure. He is looking at the rush rather than the reads, which is a fatal habit at the NFL level. Quarterbacks must possess the ability to maintain focus on the defensive secondary and their reads while under pressure in order to know where to go with the football. Much like the pressure relief valve on a hot water tank, quarterbacks must throw the football quickly to the “blitz control” or “outlet” receiver to minimize and counter the defensive pressure.’
