‘Josh Allen was pretty good last week in Minnesota. Not great, not bad at all. He wasn’t asked to do much, but what he was asked to do he did well, didn’t make critical mistakes, and kept the offense on schedule. Not much more you could ask from a rookie QB in his first-ever road start, especially in that type of environment. No doubt he was set up in very nice situations by his defense. But to Allen’s credit, he helped the offense take advantage of that. Now comes the next step. Can Allen be as efficient when things aren’t as simple and the offense needs him to make plays because they are down or in a tight game? Packers defensive coordinator Mike Pettine will test him for sure. We’ll see how he handles it in Lambeau.

Joe B: 5 things to watch for in Buffalo Bills vs. Green Bay Packers (9/30/18)
‘From a talent perspective, the Packers aren’t quite as gifted on an individual basis as the Vikings were. However, two areas that show a massive improvement from what the Bills were up against last week are two that could completely neutralize what the Bills want to do.’
Hyde, Bills preparing for trip to historic Lambeau Field
‘“I know Micah is going back to Green Bay and he’s fired up,” added safety Jordan Poyer. “I’ve never played at Lambeau in a regular season game and I’m excited about that, and excited about the opportunity to go back out and play again.”’
5 Questions: Lorenzo Alexander
“I don’t know if I should ever be mentioned in the same sentence as Bruce Smith but, it’s cool to have that kind of streak and success I did two years ago.”‘
Top 5 reasons Bills-Packers is a must-watch matchup
‘Micah Hyde won’t be the only player with ties to the Packers this week, however. After spending two years playing together in college at Cal, Bills veteran linebacker Lorenzo Alexander is very familiar with quarterback Aaron Rogers. Second-year man Matt Milano also has a notable connection to Green Bay safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, who he went to high school with in Orlando, Florida. Milano even served as Clinton-Dix’s backup during his sophomore year at Dr. Phillips High School.’
Around the NFL: Bills-Packers game predictions
‘The Bills are playing consecutive road games outside the division. That’s brutal for a young team. They played well last week, but the Packers are coming off a loss. I think that combination will make it tough on the young Bills. Packers take it big.’
Bills Today: Micah Hyde gets the ultimate respect from former head coach
‘“Micah Hyde is a stud,” McCarthy said. “I have the ultimate respect for him as a man and as a football player. He’s doing a heck of a job up there. I’m very proud of him.”’
Bills Today: Here’s what happened the last time Tre White played in Lambeau
‘White and the LSU Tigers took on the Wisconsin Badgers at Lambeau Field in the 2016 season. Although the Tigers lost the game, White was a menace, totaling four tackles. White also intercepted a pass on the day, taking it to the end zone for the first pick six of his college career. He also recovered a fumble.’
