‘I think it’s important for the quarterback that’s playing that he has a firm grasp, that he really has a comfort level with the plays that we’re running, particularly early in the season when [there is not a lot of tape]. There are preseason games to evaluate, but at the end of the day, it’s about, and I’ve talked about this before, the fundamentals and properly executing based on rules. At the end of the day, you’re not really sure early in the season what you’re going to get from the opponents.’
