‘”I like him. He’s got a lot of talent. Coach Babich is very high on him as well. His football IQ is way up there, and athletically there’s nothing he cannot do. He’s 6’4″, 6’5″, 235 pounds and runs as fast as he needs to. He can jump, too. The thing you worry most about with a young guy is the mental part of this game. From what I hear from Bob, he said this kid is smart and he gets it. He hasn’t made a lot of mental errors in training camp, which is great. He’s just a good kid overall.”‘

Preseason Week One – What to watch for in Bills vs. Panthers
‘Many eyes will be on Allen in particular, mostly since he is the one who can turn the competition upside down. If Allen impresses and dominates against lesser competition in the second half, the coaching staff will need to open Allen up to more reps with the first or second team. Allen could get more time with the first and second team if there are major struggles from McCarron or Peterman as well. With Allen likely to play out the second half, most fans will be ready to pick apart and analyze every pass by the seventh overall pick.’
Capaccio: Five position battles to watch in preseason opener
‘We know LeSean McCoy and Chris Ivory are No. 1 and 2 on the depth chart and that’s not changing. After that, Travaris Cadet seems to have a leg up on Marcus Murphy and Keith Ford. But Ford has been turning heads the last week or so at camp and runs very hard. Murphy can be a home run threat. Taiwan Jones is also in this mix, but I expect him to be mostly a special teams contributor.’
Buffalo Bills president, co-owner Kim Pegula talks about her role as first female NFL president
‘”People take notice of those things,” Pegula said. “I know in the past the NFL has not always been seen as a league that has promoted a lot of diversity at the league level.”‘
How faith and competitive fire drive Nathan Peterman to achieve his ultimate goal
‘“It was just great family support,” said Aaron. “Ryan went to class with him and wrote notes for him. We were all there in the waiting room for his surgery on Monday. Right in the waiting room before the surgery was when he said those words. That’s when he said my biggest dream turned into my worst nightmare. That’s what rocked Nate’s faith because he felt his dream was falling apart.’
How to watch Bills 2018 preseason games

Bills Today: NFL Network analyst praises Bills’ culture after camp visit
‘“I was thoroughly impressed from top to bottom,” said O’Hara on Tuesday’s appearance on One Bills Live. “It’s not just with the Bills. Seeing what the Pegulas are doing down by the waterfront is amazing. It just feels like Buffalo is on the verge of something amazing.”’
WR Corey Coleman thrilled to be in Buffalo, not looking back
‘“It’s easy to point the finger and stuff but receivers drop balls; it’s going to happen,” Coleman said. “Every week in the NFL you see a receiver drop a ball. What matters is how you respond.”’
Debut of rising Bills safety Marlowe was 2 long years in making
‘Marlowe has a great chance to make the 53-man roster as the Bills’ fourth safety. He has worked all spring and training camp with the second team, next to veteran safety acquisition Rafael Bush. He’s holding down a spot on the starting coverage units on special teams.’
Bills Camp Day 11: McDermott sticking with plan on Josh Allen
‘“There will still be growing pains with that journey,” McDermott said. “You can see the arm talent. You can see the special type of player he could become. But there is a lot of room for growth between where we are now and where he needs to get to.”’
What He Said: Bills coach Sean McDermott on QB rotation, preseason plan and more
‘Yeah, we’re working through that every day, much like the quarterback position and a lot of the positions. It’s important, all of those are important. What I love is the level of competition you see out there. You see it every day. Yesterday in the 9-on-7 drill, the offense, I thought, had a really good day. The day before, in the run drill, the defense was pretty solid. It’s been back and forth which is healthy, and there are battles that go back and forth and that’s healthy for us as well.’

Bills’ new receiver Corey Coleman grateful to catch a fresh start
‘His two-year stint with the Browns, however, was marred by two broken hands, pedestrian production (56 catches, 718 yards, five TDs) in an offense beset with quarterback problems and legal troubles stemming from an ugly assault case on New Year’s Eve 2016 that left a man bloodied and beaten and lying in the parking garage of Coleman’s downtown apartment building.’
Sean McDermott hints that Josh Allen won’t be ready to start Buffalo Bills opener
‘“Look, the games are important,” McDermott said. “Up to this point we haven’t had games to weigh. We had the spring in shorts and t-shirts basically, and now we’ve had training camp, somewhat in pads, and now we’ll have games to factor into that equation, that evaluation, and ultimately that decision.”’
Buffalo Bills coach Sean McDermott impressed by Kerley, Lawson, Marlowe and Cadet
‘Kerley has been plugged into the slot receiver role, but if he proves to be one of the two best receivers, McDermott seems comfortable in the thought that he could play on the outside opposite Kelvin Benjamin. So far in camp, Kerley has lined up in several spots.’
