‘Davis signed with the Bills on February 26, 2018, to fill the void left by free agent departure E.J. Gaines. A prime reason for his mutual interest with Buffalo was his near-perfect scheme fit.’

Bills fullback Patrick DiMarco welcomes daughter
‘DiMarco posted a photo on Instagram of son Weston holding the baby.’
Nearing 80, Paul Maguire talks Bills, broadcasting and the time he hung up on Lou Saban
‘With a heavy dose of his typically salty language (for off-air purposes), Maguire tells story after story about his youth, his playing days at The Citadel military academy in South Carolina and the AFL, and one of the longest runs of providing national network TV analysis of NFL games for NBC and ESPN, as well as other sports for ESPN. Maguire treats every honor, along with the years spent on the field and in the broadcast booth, with the same appreciation that he has for those 18 years that people watched Bills games from the Paul Maguire Club.’
Paul Maguire wants Bills to reconsider separation from alumni foundation
‘”Let me tell you something, you’re not allowed to forget us,” he said. “We built it. The most insulting thing that ever happened to professional football, as far as I’m concerned, is when (the NFL Players Association) were going to eliminate the pre-’59 players from the pension. You know how absurd that is? They built the thing.’
Watch: Former Buffalo Bills RB Fred Jackson scores 2 TDs in AFFL semifinals win
‘During his career with the Buffalo Bills, Jackson recorded 322 receptions. He added 32 more receptions in his one season with the Seahawks. The running back picked up right where he left off on Saturday night and made two touchdown receptions for Team Ocho in the American Flag Football League semifinals.’
How to watch former Buffalo Bills RB Fred Jackson in American Flag Football League
‘Jackson will be playing for Team Ocho in the American Flag Football League semifinals against the Roadrunners. Both teams are comprised of former collegiate and professional football players. A few track and field athletes and lacrosse players are also involved in the game. Team Ocho is led by Chad ‘Ochocinco’ Johnson. Other players on Team Ocho include former Bills quarterback Dennis Dixon, Jerrod Johnson, Dion Bailey, Brandon Boykin, Duke Inhenacho, Clayton Parros, Jeremy Ross, Marvin Bracy and Lorenzo Taliaferro.’
What the Bills’ roster may look like this coming year
‘Keeping six receivers is pretty traditional for NFL teams, but this is another position I can see the Bills keeping an extra with. One, because as a whole, they really lack depth. Two, because I really think a young guy like Robert Foster, Brandon Reilly, or even Malachi Dupre could step up and impress in camp. McCloud appears like he could be the team’s punt returner and Proehl made a lot of nice plays during the spring, and if that continues, I can see both of the Bills’ late round draft picks sticking around. If not, I can see those young guys landing on the practice squad.’
Rivals? Dolphins’ Gore, Bills’ McCoy working out together
‘The two running backs have been working out together and complimented each other on Instagram Friday.’
Fred Jackson scores two TDs, lifts “Team Ocho” to flag football championship
‘The 37-year-old, who retired from the NFL in April, connected with quarterback Jerrod Johnson on scores of 22 and 30 yards.’
Camp Countdown: No. 19 – Who will be the starting left guard?
‘“Competing for center right now, I like it, but the other part of that is once you know center you know the other positions and other assignments,” said Groy. “So, if I’ve got to move to guard I’ll be able to fill the spot easily because I know the call for him because I’m the center.”’
AFC East offseason update: With Darnold and young defense, Jets’ future is bright
‘With Darnold and a young and talented defense, this is a team with reason to believe it has a promising future well beyond this season. Although three second-round choices — including one next year — was a lot to move up three spots for Darnold, the Jets still have next year’s first-rounder. They also will have a good deal of salary cap space to add more talent.’
Bills fly flags at half-staff to honor state trooper who had tried out for team
‘Clark was invited to the Bills’ minicamp in 2012 after a stellar career as a linebacker at Alfred, where he was a two-time All-America honoree while earning Empire 8 All-Conference honors three times, the Empire 8 Defensive Player of the Year honor twice – the first in conference history to do so – and the Empire 8 Conference Merit Award.’
LeSean McCoy, Buffalo Bills backfield projected to fall out of top-10, says ESPN Insider
‘Believe it or not, Bills running backs have led the NFL with a 4.6 YPC over the past three seasons. The soon-to-be-30 McCoy’s efficiency dipped last season (4.0 YPC), but only Bell exceeded his 287 carries, and McCoy caught 59 passes, his most since 2010. Buffalo added near-replacement-level veteran Ivory as McCoy’s primary backup, while Cadet figures to chip in on passing downs after showing well in a small sample last season. I might be guilty of some veteran deference here, but McCoy’s elusiveness and workhorse role keep Buffalo near the top 10.’
Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen is next Carson Wentz, says Adam Schein
‘He may not be high on McCarron or Peterman, but Schein is a big fan of Allen’s game. When discussing the AFC East quarterbacks, Schein compared the Bills’ rookie quarterback to Carson Wentz and added that Allen oozes talent.’
New England Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski spikes Buffalo Bills hat at wedding (video)
‘”Sorry to them for that,” Gronkowski said last season in regards to his dominance against Buffalo in his career. “But I mean, I don’t know. It’s cool when your hometown team passes on you twice in that draft and you kind of remember it still. So, no lie, I remember that every single time I play them.”‘
