Richie Incognito named ambassador for anti-bullying organization despite history of bullying

‘In early 2014, Incognito was found by NFL investigators to have engaged in a “pattern of harassment” of former Dolphins teammate Jonathan Martin during the prior season. The investigator’s report concluded that Incognito and two other teammates made racial slurs toward an assistant trainer. Incognito was eventually suspended for conduct detrimental to the team, and sat out the 2014 season as he went unsigned.’

‘Injury prone is not a tag any athlete wants. It’s also one that Davis has largely avoided. From 2013-16 with the Colts, he missed a total of three games. That changed in 2017, though, when he appeared in just five games before a groin injury that required surgery ended his season. That led to a rocky breakup with the Colts, who insinuated Davis was healthy enough to play when he thought otherwise. That’s a part of the reason he’s so anxious to turn the page on last year.’

‘A more realistic scenario would be targeting one of the Bengals’ younger receivers in a trade. We’ve seen the two franchises make one deal already this offseason, when Cordy Glenn was traded to Cincinnati as part of a deal for the Bills to move up in the first round. Cincinnati has ample depth at receiver behind Green and veteran Brandon LaFell. Maybe Tyler Boyd, the receiver who scored the touchdown that beat the Ravens and sent the Bills to the playoffs, could be an option. Of course, the Bills could also wait and see who gets squeezed off the roster at final cuts and try to make a waiver claim, thus not having to give up anything in a trade.’

‘”When I was young, I was a pretty big guy and I always felt out of place growing up,” he said. “Most people don’t know, but I was actually bullied in high school. A group of guys actually threw rocks at me. My dad told me not to worry and to focus on football. So I grinded, and at this point I was really starting to excel. After a few weeks of not letting it bother me, I actually became friends with the guys that bullied me.’

‘Oliver was not able to build off of his impressive rookie campaign. A foot injury limited him to eight games and the Chargers selected running back Melvin Gordon in the first round of the 2015 NFL Draft. ‘One of Cordon’s friends would also accuse McCoy of being involved in the attack on Tuesday in an Instagram post while also accusing the running back of other heinous acts. McCoy took little time to respond and claimed the accusations were baseless, offensive and totally false. The Instagram post was later removed from the page of Cordon’s friend.’

LeSean McCoy’s 2015 ‘females only’ party generated police complaint from co-host

‘“Mr. McCoy must have been under the impression that she . . . was going to provide him with sexual favors at his party and once he realized that this was not going to occur, he became upset and refused to pay her,” a detective wrote in a report. McCoy’s security guard prevented the woman from collecting her belongings, she told police, including jewelry worth more than $30,000, which is why she filed the report, accusing McCoy of larceny.’
